So far I am completely satisfied with my purchase of this insert. I haven't been able to use my fireplace for years due to the cost involved with having a contractor come to rebuilt my firebox which had gotten dilapidated to the point of fear of fire hazard if I did try to use it. This was the perfect solution for price I could afford, it fit the space fairly well, it puts out nice heat, is pleasant to look at, the fan in it is really quiet. All in all I am completely satisfied!

Fireplace is beautiful in the bottom of our lower level entertainment center and works so well! Just what we needed for winter nights to make the room cozy and warm.

It didn’t seem to work for us. Looks fantastic when we pulled it on and inserted it into our spot but it just wouldn’t stay on or keep warm when we turned it on! Very easy to return with no questions asked and complications.

Pro's: Looks great. For a fake flame, it looks pretty realistic and the burning logs fit nicely. It blows out hot air with no problem. Con's: It didn't come with a remote! I tore the box apart looking for one and it never did. Also on the left side where the box meets the side of the wall came bent at the top. It'll was a quick fix with some needle nose pliers and elbow grease. But none the less it was bent on one side and not on the other. Sure sure how that happened.

LOVED IT so much that I ordered another. Can be set to as low as 71 degrees. Ambient light looks neat when ambers set at their lowest setting. Mine has a setting that mimics the subtle glowing of ambers. The logs look real as well as the bricks. The only reason for the four stars is I can hear the spindle rotating or gear. The heater is not loud but easily drowns out the gear/spindle. Four and a half stars in my book. GREAT BUY.

Looks good and helps the furnace warm the house up. Perfect fit for what I needed it for.

It's a big unit, so was expecting more heat than my small 20". Instead, there was less heat. The flame is nice. Love the refractory side walls. Wish there was one in the rear that showed faux brick as well.
