Great punch
I needed a long arm hole punch and was hesitant to get this. For some reason, I was expecting it to be cheap and plasticy feeling, so I was very happy and surprised that it was made of metal and felt solid. I'm very glad I got it. Works perfectly.

Not worth the price
I was pleased to find a hole punch with the long arm. That is the only feature I see as a plus.I find it has the capability of only taking two (2) sheets of regular paper at a time. Not worth the price.H L Smith

Two Stars
a little too plastically - no punch!

Much needed but a little difficult to use
I really needed the extra length of this paper punch but it was difficult to get the hole on the target. I was punching through laminating material and sometimes it wouldn't punch the hole completely. But I got the job done

Works well, by hurt my hand
We needed these to punch holes in our wedding programs to tie the sheets together. We needed two holes close to the center of the sheets, so the long reach was necessary. These worked and got the job done, but pushing down on the white portion to "punch" the hole really started to kill my hand after a while. I switched hands, wore gloves and even used a hammer by the end as I just couldn't take it any longer. We did use card stock which is certainly harder to punch through than regular paper, but it would be nice if that piece had some cushioning, a curve or something that would make it less painful.

Love it!
I purchased this because I am teaching a children's historical embroidery class and I wanted to make cards with the stitches drawn on, for the children to embroider on. The cards are laminated and on cardstock. This punch has worked amazingly well! A lot of reviewers had said that they had a hard time seeing where they were punching the holes. I turned the punch upside down, and was able to see inside the bottom hole, where I was punching. Just to make certain, I also used a pin prick in the center of the hole on the card, which gave me a good reference point to center the punch hole on. They have turned out perfectly! I am one pleased teacher!!

Disappointed
It doesn't go through card stock very easily and it's impossible to figure out where the hole is going to land. The measurements on it are completely wrong.

Great quality item
Very solidly constructed, more so than I expected. Does exactly what it should and doesn't jam or leave hanging holed. My only problem is that you can't see exactly where the hole is going from the top. I use this for punching out the answer keys for bubble sheet tests and need to be very precise. I ended up just turning the whole thing over and looking through the hole on the bottom.
