IMO Ancra quite simply makes the best tie downs and soft hooks bar none. These in particular are a little shorter (12") than most (18") and work great when the trailer anchoring point is a little too close to the bike anchoring point. This negates the need to loop twice around the frame.

Sometimes you can't ride there... If you're trailering/transporting go with the best. Been hauling all types of bikes for over 50yrs. Dirt bikes up to big Adventure bikes and Urals with sidecar. I only buy Ancra tie-downs and hook extensions as they're the best... Cheaper version have worn out and broken when hauling bikes... Spend the money and then you have a "no-worries" trip.

These came exactly as described. They function well. I use these to tie down a Yamaha R1. In my opinion these straps would function even better if they were about 4" longer. Also, the design could be improved if at least one side of the strap had a layer of softer material. Perhaps a 2 layer design which incorporates a layer of felt or suede joined with the nylon strap.

As everyone who owns a pair knows, tie down extensions are essential for transporting a motorcycle. I use Ancra tie downs and extensions almost daily and always keep a pair of the extensions with me when I'm out for a ride just in case. Odds are that you'll lose them or lend them out before you need to replace them because of wear and tear.I'm sure that you find can find others but keep at least some of the gold in the USA and buy these USA made straps that are very unlikely to let you down.

These ties are made of thicker material than the same width ties of a different brand that they are replacing .

Perfect companion for Ancra tie downs, these soft ties protect the equipment you're transporting and save the trouble of trying to weave the strap hooks around anchor points. Makes trailering or hauling much easier to secure your load... I use for motorcycles/atv and they work great.

TBH, they were a waste of money, went to use them yesterday and couldn't figure them out, they didn't extend enough by the time I had fastened them on and no hook to fasten to the trailer, would have been better if they had a hook on both ends to form the extension, wont use them again or buy any more

The fabric feels a little rough for Nylon, but it's definitely strong.My only complaint is that they have a large safety tag made of that polyester that's used on the tags on your shirts. It's a really big multiflap tag that they don't show in the picture.But you can just cut it off obviously.
