Works as good as my old wore out one.

I finally had to replace my old cp734 which I bought in 1977 and used pretty much daily. This one should outlive me and work better!!

Its heavy, but all metal construction so that's a good trade-off for durability. I like the placement of the forward/reverse switch... this is more ergonomic than other Ingersoll-rand designs I've used in the past. Its surprisingly quiet... didn't feel the need to use any ear protection... which I almost always use with air tools in general. Used this tool with a tiny porter-cable compressor rated for 2.6 CFM with a 6 gallon tank. It worked pretty good taking lugs nuts of my car wheels.... All but maybe 3 lug nuts out of 20 came off with ease... Not surprising, a few did not as this is a tiny compressor for this type of tool so its to be expected to have some performance gaps... but overall I am pleased. I specifically picked this gun for the low CFM rating because I intended to use it with a small compressor. Using this tool was a huge time saver despite the 3 lug nuts that were stuck. No doubt a larger compressor would have over come that issue but good enough for my needs.

I've been an auto tech for 40 yrs. & if this one lasts as long as my last cp734, I'll never need to buy another. It has plenty of power, & it doesn't hurt my ears when I use it like some do. Although its a little heavy, it has good balance. Overall its an excellent impact & I highly recommend it

Like other fine Japanese products, this is air impact wrench is well-designed and feels really good in your hand. It just fits, and the balance is right. The controls are simple, intuitive and ergonomic. The ratio of power/air use is probably the best of the lot, so if you're working with a smaller/slower compressor, this wrench is an excellent choice. This wrench isn't as powerful as some, but it's got plenty of power for most projects involving cars and light trucks, and it's less likely to do real damage by over-tightening; a powerful wrench can strip a nut, pull out a stud or twist off the head of a bolt in the blink of an eye. This is less likely to do that. My only complaint is that the owner's manual advises checking the clutch oil every few months, but there are no instructions as to how to do this. Professional users may know such things, but as a home mechanic, I'd appreciate having this information included in the instruction manual. Note that the manual advises injecting a couple of drops of Chicago Pneumatic CA000046 Protecto-Lube Air Tool Oil- 20 oz into the air intake before each use. Edit: I recently used this wrench to remove a heavy 7-lug wheel off a large horse trailer. I also used it to remove the big-8-lug wheels from my daughter's F-250 diesel pickup. I easily handled both jobs.

I have had a Chicago Pneumatic CP134 For 30 plus years and decided to purchase another for my home shed as the original is used at my business. I Goggled the name and model and after all that time found this tool still available with little change in all those years. I ordered from Amazon which has a great price, and being sceptical about the cost of freight was pleasantly surprised with a fair and reasonable cost. I ordered and it was charged correctly and arrived to my door as promised , so now i've made other orders and are so far happy with Amazons great service. Oh yes this tool is still fantastic 30 years on, smooth running works great. HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY. Hope Amazon keep up this method of freight charging and would like to see more range in fishing gear.especially brand names such as Shimano, Fins, and have Amazon supply all products internationally.

lightweight and rests on top of your hand when holding it. makes a great tire changer gun. not the strongest for some mechanic work. gun was also just revised in 2017/2018 to have more sensitive trigger. i’d recommend a stronger twin hammer gun for regular pickup truck mechanics

Credo che gli avvitatori CP siano i migliori in assoluto. Ne abbiamo più di uno e ci siamo sempre trovati bene.

Profesional, buenísima, mi compresor es de 25 litros y pensaba que no podría pero puede e incluso a baja fuerza, estoy desmontando un coche americano del 87 con bastante óxido, un poco de wwdd4040 y como mantequilla, una gozada, se ve muy de la vieja escuela, mola mucho además. No te olvides de aceitar a la entrada antes de cada uso o poner un aceitador automático.
