Betty Crocker Potato Mashed Creamy Butter Cup Potatoes 1.2 oz Cup (pack of 12)

My mom just had dental surgery and doesn't want to mash up or puree her food. She said these were very flavorful and very easy to heat and eat.She is elderly, and walks slowly, but can move around on her own. She can use her walker to go to the kitchen when I am not there, and microwave these instead of using the stove or waiting for someone to arrive, to cook for her. She gets Meals on Wheels, but that food is often cold sandwiches, with cold fruit or cold salad items, often very fibrous or requiring a lot of chewing; she just cannot eat those things, right now.She can heat these up herself, with no fuss. With bread and butter or peanut butter, or with her protein supplement shakes the doctor prescribed, she can have these and feel full.

I found that I had thoguht that stirred /mixed it enough but some was i na cump on bottom.I will make another cup --I usesd extra water and a tad of milk-shortly. Good idea andnot a huge portion--one that you ought to use instead.

I got these for my daughter for a quick snack while living in a dorm. She didn't eat them because she said they were so bad. When she brought them all home at the end of the term, I tried them myself. I had read that if you make them with milk they taste better, so I tried it that way. I ended up throwing the whole order away because they are so bad.

These are so easy to prepare in the microwave 1min/15sec and done. I live alone and I am counting calories. This indiv. cup forces me to be conscious of portion control and only 80 calories. You can doctor them up a little if you need to, remember they are instant potatos. But they hit the spot for me. Great for a quick, "I don't want to cook" night!.

I usually purchase different brand here on Amizon but they prices went from $ 11.00 to almost $ 40.00 so I thought I try these cups . They are not gluten free like the others and lack taste . Have a strange translucent color . My friend said they were good but I think the others are much better . So four cases of 12 ,minus 2 went to the food bank . They will get used. Will watch price on the others .

These containers are perfect for single servings. Add water and throw it in the microwave and they are ready to eat in minutes. I also think that these potatoes are the best tasting single serve instant mashed that we have ever tried.

I thoroughly enjoy these little jewels. The flavor is just incredible and they have the perfect consistency (though I admit I do go over the "line" just a bit as I like mine a bit thinner). The butter flavor is perfect although I do add a bit of the "real" stuff also, I don't think they really would have to have it. I've bought several packages of these now and they are very consistent - just beware there are "two" servings in one cup!

Weird artificial butter/chemical taste. I have had better products.
