The Princess and the Peas (Princess Series)

Honestly I was expecting this to be better after so many good reviews. I like the artwork but it's hard for my 3 year old to follow.

I loooove Sarah Warburton illustrations. This book is beautifully illustrated, beautiful colors. The characters are fun and lively. I love to look at my daughter, who is 3, looking at all the pictures, with all the details they have. As far as the story itself, its fun, but my daughter still doesnt get the morale.

I ordered this book to use in a preschool unit about the classic fairy tale of "The Princess and the Pea." I love the story line and was especially excited that the classic fairy tale was actually told as part of this book's storyline as a "book within a book." I loved this story so much that I read it to my fourteen-year-old daughter as a bedtime story and we haven't done that in years! The pictures are fantastic too! Two thumbs way up!

Was not aware there was library binding... there is library stamping all over and the plastic cover does not come off!!

this has become my daughter's favorite book! Really teaches kids to try foods, and a little ketchup goes a long way to make anything taste good :)

Such a cute story, with a good lesson.

Lovely adaptation of the classic princess and the pea. The story is light hearted, well illustrated and fun.I love this series and my little one enjoys the rhyme and pictures.The publishers are also great as the QR code on the front of the book reads the story aloud. Very clever and well worth the money. I bought all the series.

much enjoyed by 3 year old who loves the traditional 'princess and the pea', bought with ' the pea and the princess' : she likes the different take the three books provide on peas and princesses!

Good book for KS1 children

What a great tale and what fabulous illustrations, I've really enjoyed reading this with my 7-year-old daughter and her younger cousins.

Was recommended this by a friend, my daughter does like it but hasn't become one of her favourites just yet. The drawing is nice and the tale is sweet.

My four year old granddaughter absolutely loves this story and I love reading it as it doesn't take forever.
