For me - it looks good, lets you see the table surface, does not stick, but stays in place.
I wanted some kind of table cloth that would allow the beauty of the wood to be better seen, rather than a cloth hanging down over it. This seemed ideal, but I was concerned that it might stick to the table and damage the wooden surface (it is a new table). So I bought the patterned PVC rather than totally clear, as was suggested in a review. However, it does not stick, lifts off the table quite easily, without any damage. It is fairly heavy, so it stays put and does not move across the table at all. I am really pleased with it.

Great product, heavy and completely see through
Doesn't have any colour tints so you can see the surface below clearly. It's heavy so it stays in place. I'm buying more of these for other surface tops.

Adds that extra protection at a reasonable price.
After buying new bedroom furniture w wanted to protect the tops. This offers that protection at a reasonable price and can be trimmed to size with a sharp craft knife etc. So impressed we are going to do a couple more tables.

Not suitable for painted surfaces
I have a painted desk and this protector has stuck to the paint and lifted it. I'm now repainting my desk.

Crap, folded crumpled mess
Absolute crap. Package came to me folded and crumpled and doesn’t lay smooth like it shows in the pictures. And I had to pay a duty fee. I will not do that again. Next time they come to my door and say there is duty on something I will send it back. It’s suppose to be free shipping. This product was way to expensive for what you get. It’s unusable. Save your money.
