If you are new to packet tracer then this book is for you. I use this book to teach my High School club on how to setup networks. It has simple router and switches configurations. This is not for anyone who has experience with networks. Great Teaching tool!!

Packet Tracer Network Simulator is a great mentor for building your networking career. Consider the advantage that comes from experience. Using your mind to recognize images, using your hands and knowledge to forage a skills that makes and mends a network. When confronted with real life questions about the network a packet tracer simulator allows you to call on experience. But you need a guide to learn the tool this book is an excellent and inexpensive way to start. The topics are well organized and it gives you good beginner guidance to using the tracer.

I recommend this book. I really find it very interesting the clarity with which each topic is explained. Very didactic and bearable. Undoubtedly, to help supplement the CCNA course as well to learn the Packet Tracer program. Another important detail is the examples that are clear and simple to follow.

The Packet Tracer Network Simulator book is for a person with Packet Tracer software experience and not for the novice. I was expecting something a little more basis. With the help of the internet and you tube, I have completed 60% of the book.

After looking at this, I have decided to write my own ccna practical book with packet tracer.

How can they charge £25 for this book?I was expecting a large weighty tome for this price, akin to the usual size of book one gets about networking. This is little more than an oversized pamphlet, ok, slight hyperbole, but not what the price suggests.Sure, it covers the basic's of the software but I couldn't recommend it as a reference guide. Think of one of those 'idiot guides' with a third of the pages and you're on the right lines.
