Delba Famous German Fitness Bread, 16.75 Ounce (Pack of 12)

After toasting I put cream cheese on this and wow its really good. It tastes better than my other fitness bread, I dont think I can eat store bread anymore after this. I also have the pumpernickel and it is also very good.

Whenever I get tired of the overly fluffy, pre-sliced blob of nothingness they call bread here in the US, I order some good old-fashioned German bread, have a slice for breakfast and feel like I am back in the old country, where bread is real bread, beer tastes like real beer, all people have access to health insurance, six weeks of paid vacation is normal, yada yada yada. Having said that, I would never even consider moving back to Germany, because I love living in this slightly crazy country full of wonderfully diverse people. This German bread, though... man, it is awesome.

I love these Feldkamp breads. Toast a slice and then sprinkle on lightly ground roasted sesame seeds, freshly ground pepper, sumac spice and then olive oil. Can't go wrong.

I lived in Germany for many years and it was a pleasant surprise to find this diabetes-friendly bread available here.
