Bead Collections 41286 Cubic Zirconia Teardrop Pendant, Red 14 by 9mm

The color is excellent, and the stone is cut beautifully. While the bail is definetly functional, I will probably replace it with an ornate one for my purposes.

This bead is more orange and not as ruby-colored as the picture shows. Very misleading. I was shocked when I opened my order and found that the item was not what I expected.

I bought this because I needed something small to reach free shipping. It's a briolette and complete round, not flat. The color is a lighter red leaning towards orange. Maybe like a light siam red? The gem itself is slightly over half an inch; with the bale, it's closer to one inch. I have some doubts it's a cubic zirconia and suspect it's probably glass. It's sparkly though and fits on a silver snake chain I like to wear. The bale is a generous size for something that small.
