Repeat Purchase
I have a love hate relationship with this product. Love it because of all the mid priced sound bars I've looked at and purchased, this one actually does the job. The wireless sub woofer makes a huge difference in the performance compared to other products. I had purchased an earlier version a few years back and it went out. Replacement appears to be the only option so I decided to go with a competitor. Competitor is highly rated on Amazon. Got that product and was very disappointed in performance compared to my older BA product, so returned it and ordered the Model 30. When I was setting up the Model 30, the sound far exceeded the competitor even without the subwoofer. Then when I installed the subwoofer, my expectations were met. In my opinion, of all the mid priced sound bars, this is the best performer. However, I'm not saying this is the easiest to setup.Be aware, that if you've had previous versions of this product or have looked at previous models, this unit is much bigger. The width is the same but the height is at least 1/3 higher. This is not a discreet, sleek unit; it overpowers the slim design of a flat panel and becomes a dominant feature; this is definitely not "art." Then the setup........the first unit I bought a few years back was very simple because of some helpful hints on Amazon Reviews. For this unit, I kept repeating the instructions over and over. After about a half hour of doing the same thing and making no changes, the unit magically accepted the code from my remote. I had reached a point that I was ready to return the unit but re-packing this product would take an engineer. The total lack of customer support is very frustrating. The only means to contact customer support is by email. There are no phone numbers provided. They say to contact the seller. I'm not aware of Amazon having the technical support for a product like this. In this price range there should be some type of support available from the vendor. For performance, I rate this product as the best. As to setup and customer support, I rank it as a 1. I didn't have the other technical issues like the subwoofer as other reviewers mentioned. My issue was in the "easy" setup with the remote. Now that it's actually working, it's great to have the volume etc all on my remote. This unit does provide great bass and sound. If you're a patient person, you'll be very pleased with product once it's setup.

Incredible Sound! Minor design flaws. Make sure it gets a full 5.1 mix!
This thing sounds incredible! For DVDs/BluRays make sure you're getting the full Dolby Digital mix to it!So at first, I had my Dish and Bluray hooked up to my tv via HDMI, and then used the optical out from my tv to this Tvee 30. Sounded pretty darn good, but was just a tad lacking in the dialog department. Then upon further research I realized that my tv mixes the surround sound down to stereo before it outputs to the optical! That blows! Then I hooked my Bluray straight into to the Tvee 30 and wow! This thing is amazing. From what I understand most tv's do this when outputting to the optical cable. Be sure to research this. This soundbar is really incredible when doing its own mixdown from the full 5.1 audio source to the 3.1 its designed for. I wound up getting a cheap optical switch here on Amazon and use it to switch inputs from the dish or Bluray. C2G / Cables to Go 28734 Digital Audio Explorer Toslink Selector Switch Boston - if you're reading this - this soundbar needs at least 3 optical or HDMI inputs! DTS decoding would be insane!Anyway, once hooked up correctly the soundbar is awesome but also has another design flaw. The remote sensor sucks. I wound up completely disassembling the unit (lots of screws holding it together) and physically removed the smoke colored lens in front of the IR sensor. Not something I would recommend doing unless you're really familiar with electronics and extremely careful. Once removed, the remote works perfectly. Glad I didn't pay full retail price for this thing, because they never should have released this product with such a terrible IR sensor. I can overlook it, though, simply because it sounds so darn good. And I love that you use your own remote to control it - all the more reason that the IR sensor should have been designed better in the first place! All in all, I highly doubt there is a better sounding soundbar on the market. I've listened to a lot of them. If you can live with the lack of inputs and don't have the remote issues, this Tvee Model 30 can't be beat!
