Works on an android tablet too
Got this to try on my tablet since its also powered by android (no I don't have a smart phone) and it works great.Instead of uploading an app to view them I just looked in my internal storage and the SD card was there, clicked on it and voilĂ the pictures are perfect and I can upload them on the tablet if I like.Doesn't feel like the super best quality made but heck for the price..... it suits my needs very well and works as intended plus it will take a mini SD and a USB so after using it several days I can't recommend this enough!

So I'm good to go
First, I'm using the card reader with a Droid turbo 2 version 6.0.The first time I used the reader was in the field. I had Nexus photo viewer and file manager (cheetah mobile) downloaded already. So I'm good to go, so I thought. I figured out how to see pictures but, for the life of me, I couldn't delete and/or save pictures. All this while getting devoured by skeeters. Finally I just grabbed a card out of a camera and took it home to mess with.I still couldn't figure it out so I contacted Buck Struck via email. The response was immediate and they walked me through it. I ended up buying the pd version of USB Media Explorer for like 3 or 4 bucks. I'm not sure if the free version of media explorer would have worked but I did figure out that I couldn't have nexus photo and file manager on at the phone at the same time for the card reader to work. I kept getting a thing popping up saying there were 2 file managers and it would possibly mess things up, to put it in layman terms. So without making this any longer I uninstalled photo viewer and free version of file manager and now only had the pd version of USB Media Explorer left. It is so easy to go along now and see/delete/save and share pictures it's just fabulous. I can't wait to go out and check cameras now because I can take my bow with and hunt at the same time.I knew as soon as I saw this product, specifically for Android and if it worked, would be exactly what I wanted. It is exactly what I wanted and needed. The tech support was/is 2nd to none. Would give more stars if possible.

My husband loves it!!!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! It is just what he needed. Now he can check his deer cam pictures at the location without having to bring it home and put the card in the laptop and then take it back to the camera. This has made it much easier for him and less time consuming. The only think that I don't like about it, is that you have to open each picture individually with your gallery on your phone, instead of swiping and viewing them easily. We scan through the thumbnails and select each one that we want to see but have to first upload it to the gallery on the Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone. It comes with a small instruction paper that also has a website to go to and a app to download for it, we have not had to download the app because the pictures came up immediately after inserting the device into the phone, it worked perfectly, but the app may help with the viewing and may have a easier way to swipe and scroll through the pictures, we will check it our for sure to see if it does help with that. We were also able to save the pictures that we wanted and delete the memory card afterward. I highly recommend it! My husband loves it! The only present that would have been better is a 12 point buck in the back of his truck, lol..

It works!
Works well with my samsung note 5. It is able to view the photos with no problems. It does not scroll from photo to photo, must click on each photo to view the hit the back arrow to go back, takes a little more time than viewing the photos on a laptop. But it is good for changing the card in the field or trying to clear the photos in the field without a laptop

Viewing while hunting and not after yay!
So worth it. I was going to hide for my husband for xmas but decided to give it while he can use it. Photos are clear and beautiful, pops up right on your screen to view them, only down fall is one of our cameras takes an odd shape SD card and it won't read that one but then again nothing will so no loss there. This is a great way to have immediate access in the woods so you know if your in the right spot or need to move locations for you and your stand without having to leave the woods first. Good luck hunters. I can't wait to see what else this company sells.

BuckStruck Game and Trail Camera Viewer
I purchased this because I thought it would be easier to check my game cams with because I always have my phone with me. When I tried using it in the field it failed miserably. The game cams showed plenty of pics to be viewed but when I inserted the card into the viewer it would immediately delete all the pics. The third cam that I checked I placed the card into my old trail cam viewer and the pics on that card came up fine but when I places the card into the BuckStruck viewer it erased them again. I tried using this on my Note 4 and my Galaxy Tab 10.1 with the same results. I would not, based on my experience, recommend this product.

Super product, super company!
This little device is the best thing to happen to trail cams since they went digital! You can plug this into your phone and look at the cam photos without having to lug a laptop out in the field. The first one I got had an issue but the company sent a new one out the same day, no questions asked, and I plugged it in and BAM! Works like a charm. I can also now post pictures taken from our digital cameras to social media without the need of a laptop too, which is kind of nice. Good company, they stand behind their product and follow through.

Great Product but....Durability Needs Work
The only true issue that I have with this is that the internals and the casing seems pretty brittle. When I first put a SD card in the entire internals shifted back and now it moves around inside the casing. I am happy I got the storage case for it because if I didn't I have a feeling that I might have crushed the housing of the reader just riding out to the bait site. A really big plus is there was no need to download software to view the pictures, however, additional software is needed for video's which I can understand. Plus I typically don't use video's because I use my camera for baiting bear in Alaska. Once again excellent product just small deficiencies and very little time to wait on the reader to recognize the SD Card. I am also using a Samsung Note 4 Edge. Photo pulled off with the reader.
