This kite has flown beautifully right in our yard for my 7, 9, 12 yr olds!

Good quality and price
This is better quality than the kites we typically find in stores. It has held up well. Not as good quality as the Nylon kites of my youth, but perhaps one of the best basic kid kites on the market.

This is a high flyer!
Not only are the colors (blues) very pretty; I have flown this kite multiple times. It seems to be made very well as I even had my great granddaughter take a turn and it is still in one piece.The tail is very long, which really helps to stabilize this kite...I have had it so high, we had to add more string.So much fun; just so glad to find a decent kite.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to fly a kite...this is perfect.I keep it in my vehicle and always have it around when there is an open field and a breeze.

It took off immediately!
I bought this kite alongside 2 others off of Amazon and this one took off the best of the 3 - pretty much immediately! My youngest daughter was so proud that hers flew the soonest. It is cute and a perfect size. It was easy to put together and take back apart to store in the package. Very pleased with this purchase and we look forward to its continued use.

put some duct tape on it
the tip of the kite got a hole in it from falling on the ground a few times and little kids dragging it. I patched it with duct tape which is holding for now. recommend doing that preemptively! otherwise it flies perfectly.

Cheap downgrade from the older version of this exact kite
I bought the former version of this kite about 4 years ago and it was the best kite I've ever flown. The new version is complete junk. The string is half the thickness of the older version, the rods are completely different material and much thinner, and the kite can barely survive moderate wind. My son was so disappointed because it didn't fly like his old kite, even though it looked the same. Pass on this one!

Missing one of the pockets so I am unable to assemble
I feel like I’m going crazy bc there is NO bottom pocket to put the spine in. I clearly see the other 3, but it’s like the 4th one is just missing. I had to get my mother to double check that I wasn’t just blind or crazy, she couldn’t find it either. Manufacturing defect? Will update if I’m able to make it work I might break out the sewing kit. Frustrating bc I had gotten my daughter so excited all morning that the kite was coming today for our park trip.
