Great for low light area in my home

I unboxed this beautiful plant and the soil was dry and non existent due to it being in the box and not the pot. I consider myself to be an intermediate plant mom but I still wish it came with a care guide. I thought I could save this plant as my husband sent this to my for Mother’s Day but it has been dying from the moment I inboxed it. It’s so beautiful in pictures but before the end of the night the leave were starting the dry out on the edges. Despite all my efforts the leaves were all dried up even with my humidifier and misting the soil. I’m so disappointed I wasn’t able to save her.

I will be ordering another plant in the future. This is a beautiful Calathea plant. I would recommend to family and friends. Pretty decent size, I've had for less than a month and the plant seems to be growing. Easy care and beautiful!
