Bela Fleck, Victor Wooten, Howard Levy und Future Man zeigen, was sie drauf haben. Und das ist verdammt viel.Musikalisch lässt sich das in keine Schublade einordnen, aber virtuos ist es immer. Ein Bass-Solo auf dem 5-Saiter im Kontrabereich, das hat man wohl noch nicht gehört. Aber auch das unvergleichliche Harmonika-Spiel von Howard Levy hört man nur allzu selten. Ausser auf frühen Alben von Holly Cole. Und Bela Fleck ist ein wahrer Teufel auf dem Banjo. Nicht unerwähnt bleiben darf auch Wootens Bruder, Future Man, der auf einem, nach Gitarrenart umgehängten Drum-Computer wahre Wunderdinge vollbringt. Wer Musik liebt und keine Schubladen akzeptiert, ist mit Bela Fleck und den Flecktones gut bedient.

An absolute masterpiece. Every album from this band is a gem.... but this one just stands out.... possibly because it was my first exposure to Bela Fleck & the Flecktones with this album. Each song is a masterpiece on this. From odd time signatures to complex cycles and solos to intricate yet flowing melodies, this has it all. Enjoy... be blessed... buy this and enjoy. Gran calidad del disco, 180 Gr audiophile. De la música ni hablar, uno de los mejores discos del genio. El sonido es impresionante, yo soy bajista y puedo escuchar con detalle todo el trabajo de Wooten en este disco.

Titolo con,musica bella e ben suonata,con moltecaratteristiche e situazioni musicali che lo rendono particolarmenteadatto ad essere usato come disco test per un impianto HI-Fi.

Die Bela Fleck Truppe macht sagenhaft gute Musik, vor allem der Bass von V. Wooten gibt einen soliden Boden für die komplexe Instrumentalmusik.

Un album piacevole,frizzante e divertente inciso in maniera magistrale!! Consigliato a tutti gli amanti dell' HIFI che vogliono mettere alla prova l'impianto.

Eher keine Musik für "Jedermann"...Anspruchsvolle Instrumentalkunst, klingt sehr gut.Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla

I don't want everyone to feel this review is too critical but the Sonic's of this Vinyl Remaster are only a 4.5 on a scale of five being perfect. From the first note you are swept away. Sonically almost perfection. The Songs are also very well done and flow with a again near perfect consistency.Whom ever remastered this LP did an outstanding job. I would have to say it must have been Remastered separately for Vinyl and Digital. For the Vinyl the passages are completely black. the Sound Stage is full and wide. Musicians are easily recognized in there places on stage.You close your eyes and cannot tell where the sound is coming from. Your Speakers just seem to disappear.Yet you can place every instrument to with in inches of the stage arrangement.I Simply broke out in Goose Bumps I was so amazed.And I am not that easily amazed for the most part as I have been an Audiophile for years. I have to put this in the Top 20 LP's I have listened to that could make me feel like a child again.You know when you would see of hear something as a child that took your breath away.

Looking for a jazz banjo? How about a good recording of an electric bass guitar? How about both in one? Well, this is the recording for you. The title track alone will fill all of your expectations and then some. This track is used by our local audio club as a reference track by which all member's systems are compared, and for good reason. Even though it is not what is currently considered a state-of-the-art recording, this is a well produced and mastered CD rivaling a live uncompressed recording. I wish recording studios would just toss every compressor and just let us hear what dynamic range is all about. Unfortunately, the ear-bud folks are the one's steering the market and the dynamics run 4-6 bits at best meaning all of the music is at about the same level and not even close to what real life delivers.
