Very cool & unique can.I use it mainly for drinking. I like that it's easy to clean, especially because I drink a variety of liquids with it -- ranging from coffee and tea to juice.It does keep things hot/cold for good amount of time, but don't expect to put something hot in it at night and wake up with it still hot. It does well for it's size.Best thing is the cool factor. People are always asking me about it. Design is badass without being overly wild. (Wife wishes it came in pink though.)Only complaint is the 'breather hole' (for lack of a better technical term) is a little small, so it takes a little effort to drink from. Not free-flowing like a straw and cup. But this has a silver-lining.Liquids won't spill out of it easily. Very good for having it by the computer. You can accidentally knock it over, and barely a drop (if anything at all) will come out. As it turns out, good for my toddler to use as well, especially with the special coating that makes it non-slip. (Hmmm, new product idea?)Lastly, excellent customer service. So last week I bought this cup. I was really excited about it because it looked perfect for me and exactly like what I was looking for. So pre-buy I was really excited about the design, and the size was good enough, the price was amazing!!!!!!!!!! And it seemed pretty versatile. Post buy I have found some qualities that, obviously haven't made me dislike the cup, but made me give it four stars. I really wanna say that I think this is a great product and it actually had me researching insane laboratories to see if they had any other cool products. But I do think that this product could be expanded on so much and think that this company could do so much. And I really only encourage it because I wanna see more things from insane laboratories. Like additional sizes, colors. But I ultimately think that you could go many directions with this as your base because it's so cool to begin with.

Works well. Initially the draw of the straw seem hard, but isn't bad. Removing the top when chilled (kept with lunch, chilled) can be difficult. Perhaps knurling the edge would help? Minor nits, really. Planning to get a couple more eventually. UPDATE: Did buy a couple more. Now I can have what I want, rather than what companies decide to put in a can, with my lunch.The ONLY issue I have with Insane Laboraties (or is it Amazon) is that I get an email after the purchase telling me a coupon code to use on Amazon, but I have ordered more twice now and the code is ignored as invalid. That is a quibble, not a dealbreaker.

It can leak a few drops if knocked over. That's all I can say that's bad about this mug. (They do it a disservice by calling it a "THERMOS CAN & FOOD JAR ".) The superior insulation outweighs the minor complaint a friend had about not getting enough of the aroma as you drink your coffee. Besides, you can take the lid off and get the odor (and allow it get cold faster). Nullum prandium gratuitum est! Yes, it's easy to clean. I do it once a year whether it needs it or not. And a side effect is that its black matte surface absorbs sunlight very efficiently and keeps your coffee hot even longer! And as a somewhat offbeat scientist, I love the "Insane Laboratories" insignia. They did a good job.

This is a good option if you want a solid vacuum sealed thermos but you don't want to sped a fortune. The unique shape and size is nice, although it will kind of look like you're drinking beer in public if you take it out. I do wish it had an alternate lid that was better for coffee, and maybe a design that didn't look like a prison tattoo, but for around ten bucks you can't complain too much. My wife was so jealous of mine that we had to buy another one.

Comfortable grip and easy use in a cup-holder - good "feel" in your hand!Only problem I found was the the vent hole was a little too small. With a carbonated beverage, if the vent got wet, surface tension would effectively seal it and liquid would bubble up out of the drink tube. I reamed it out a bit from the inside and it is fine now - still seals when the sip tube is folded down.

I've used my Thermos for a week now and it's fine. Just fine. The two issues I have with it are the lid, that will leak if it tips over, and there is a seam on the inside of the can that's harder to clean than the rest of the unit. As for retaining cold or heat, it's middle of the road. It won't keep my coffee hot for more than a few hours, but does better with cold... I do like the graphics and outer material. It's a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but cleans easily.Don't hate it. Don't really love it.

Just received this and immediately prepared it so that I could be drinking hot coffee out of it as I write this review. It looks well-made, high-quality, feels sturdy. It came with two plastic straws. It's very easy and pleasant to use and I love the design, and the non-slippery feel of the rubber coat.Update: I've been using this at least once or twice every day for the past few months. It provides the perfect amount of coffee (latte) for me and I often take it with me when I go to meetings and such. Never had a problem with it spilling. It's a great product.It does keep stuff hot as expected, so be careful when filling it with very hot liquids.
