Tasty, Easy: Boil Water, Throw In, Stir, and Chow Down
Have eaten like 6 bags of this in the last couple months. This stuff is good and healthy. Just slap some maple syrup on this bad boy, and through some collagen or protein in when making and it is phenomenal. I️ can't cook to save my life, but I️ can make this it's so easy. Boil water, throw this in, stir, and chow down. Gluten free too.

A nice (and delicious) change from oatmeal!
My husband loves buckwheat cereal but since Bob's Red Mill company store closed last year after his death (RIP, Bob, I'll never forget your impromptu piano concerts during lunch), it's been hard to find. Until now. I ordered a bag last month and surprised my husband with it. It made him very happy, and that makes me happy. It's very easy to prepare; 1/3 cup cereal, 2/3 cup water, 1/3 cup milk in a 20 oz bowl, add a pat of butter (helps control spillover) and 2-3 minutes in the microwave. It's a delicious hot breakfast for both him and our dogs (I make a bit more than the package directions state since he eats most of it and our Beagles finish it up). And, I throw a handful when I bake bread or pizza crust since it adds a delicious nutty flavor.

Great for backpacking
Good stuff but of course it's bland by itself. I use it for backpacking and it cooks as easily as instant oatmeal. Just get a couple small zipper packs, like what Mountain House meals come in. I think Good To Go has some small granola packs like this. Eat the granola and keep the bags. Put ever how much of this you want in them, add boiling water, seal it shut and it's done in 10 minutes. Take care of the bags and you can use them over and over. It's better for you than oatmeal, too. The texture is different, but oatmeal has tryptophan and serotonin in it and makes you drowsy. If you've been using instant oatmeal, that stuff is loaded with sugar and only makes it worse. This is so much better for you.

Tasty and Quick to Fix
Obviously, a person must like hot cereal to make this work, but I do. I also have a lot of digestive issues and have to eat gluten free. This is a good alternative to cream of rice, which I like too. In spite of the name, buckwheat does not have gluten. It's got more flavor than rice. It's easy to fix it up to be sweet or savory. If you can't eat corn, it can work as a replacement for grits too.
