My parrots who are all older than me have been eating Tropican since 1993...they love it. The best food on the market for parrots!

My parrots do well on this food. They have bright shiny feathers and they prefer it to other parrot pellets. Their last vet visit went great!

Food is over a year old
It's great that Hagen is so cheap, and my birds love it, but I was a little dismayed to see that the manufacture date of the pellets was June 2013. I wouldn't eat anything that old, so my birds shouldn't have to, either. A fresher product would have made me a lot happier.

Great even for picky birds, wish the bag was resealable
I adopted my grey and she was used to a seed mix where she would cherry pick and only eat sunflower seeds and peanuts. Within 4 days she was switched over to these pellets which is fantastic. They smell great, love the all natural ingredients and the value. I wish there was a resealable bag since it's such a large amount of food. Mine actually had a big hole in the bag when I got it which made a mess. Still will buy it again, this will be my grey's main food source for sure.Edit: Over a month in and she loves the pellets still. For some reason for the first week or two she would leave the green ones at the bottom of her bowl but she eats them all now, still eats the green ones and sometimes the beige ones last but wonderful product if our seed-junkie bird switched over so well.

My birds love these and they are much cheaper than the pellets.
All of my indian ringnecks and conures love these! They can easily pick them up to eat them. They are half the price of the round pellets and less waste and mess made we these, all i will be buying in the future.
