Very good Malabar pepper. We use Malabsar by preference because it has a little more heat and bite than Tellicherry. The Via Doria brand has a good flavor and seems more aromatic than most Malabar peppers we have used. The peppercorns are very small, even though Malabar pepper runs to small corns. Good price and prompt service from the distributor.

This is a pepper that I’ve found superior to others. It has a taste that doesn’t overpower, but complements the food served. From eggs to steak, it harmonizes with anything else in flavoring.

Robust pepper flavor!. My family "raves" over my sautéed vegetables seasoned with course qround sea salt and fresh cracked Viva Doria Malabar Pepper. The flavor is robust but does not overwhelm the delicate flavor of the vegetables. It's also excellent in my homemade soups too. I have purchased this product twice and have not been disappointed. A great value for the money.

You can tell by looking at them that these are select, high quality peppercorns. I only buy peppercorns in this large size container and just refill our grinder right out of the container.
