KnowRoaming’s ReachMe feature allows users to receive all incoming calls from their home mobile number, so they never miss a call no matter where they are. Their call displays their home number to whomever they call while traveling abroad. The free KnowRoaming companion app is available for iOS and Android. A web app is available for Windows Phone and all tablets. The app and web app enables users to create an account, monitor their usage in real time, compare rates to their home provider and top-up their account with credit. The entire technology is prepaid and credit can be used over multiple trips and destinations. “We looked at why roaming has persisted for so long and why people continue to pay exorbitant fees and decided to dedicate ourselves to developing a convenient solution to these problems,” said KnowRoaming CEO and co-founder Gregory Gundelfinger. “With the KnowRoaming sticker, never again will you have to search for WiFi, buy a local SIM card or be shocked by international roaming charges." Worked perfectly, without any issues whatsoever - highly recommended!
I bought this sticker to facilitate my use of my phone while on a 3 week, multi-country river cruise in Europe. Although I approached the sticker application with considerable trepidation due to my fumbly fingers, it went off without a hitch. When I arrived in Paris the SIM automatically connected to the local network and asked me to set up data access. I didn't have to make any adjustments at all. It did this in every country I visited without any extra steps. When I bought 24 hour unlimited data, the process was extremely easy and everything worked flawlessly.I only bought data on those days when I was going to be moving around a city on my own and needed to use GMaps and Waze to get to landmarks and find my way back to the ship. It is not inexpensive to buy unlimited data for multiple days, but when you need it, it works extremely well. When I arrived back in my home country the SIM auto-detected where I was and "handed off" to my home country SIM and data plan. No need for any manual intervention.I'll be going to the US and Canada in October for 16 days, but will use my Ting SIM instead while I'm in the US, as the data is so much cheaper. I don't use much data, but even at KnowRoaming rates it can get expensive each day, and I don't want to buy unlimited data every day. I'll use my KnowRoaming sticker while in Canada, however, in case I need to use my phone and data while there. One very attractive feature is that WhatsApp use is supposed to be free. I never figured out how to do this, however, as to use WhatsApp you need to turn on international data roaming, and I was concerned I'd be charged for my email trying to retrieve, etc. while I was trying to use WhatsApp.I'll check with Tech Support on how to do that - it wasn't that important to me on my European trip.

Does NOT work with Verizon SIM
I travel internationally quite a bit, and typically just pick up a local SIM. Decided to try this instead of continuing to buy local SIMs. My phone is unlocked and works on GSM and CDMA network. We attached the sticker to the SIM card, and then my SIM wouldn't work at all. My phone showed "No SIM". We removed the sticker, it worked fine. Tried it in my husband's phone, same issue. Called KnowRoaming, and they said it doesn't work with a Verizon SIM.I didn't have time to order something else before my next trip, so we tried a different SIM. It was a foreign SIM that I know is active and works in my phone. Put the sticker on, get the same result. Put the SIM in without the sticker, and it was fine. And now I can't return it. Very disappointed with this company. Guess I am back to getting local SIMs when I land.

Works well and great customer service
I purchased two SIM stickers in anticipation for a trip to the U.K. I put one in my Nexus 6P and the other in my wife's Pixel XL. Both of us are Verizon Wireless subscribers. I had no problems with my phone's setup but the Pixel XL wouldn't work despite the phone being unlocked by default (Verizon does not lock 4G phones). I contacted KnowRoaming customer service via email and they immidiatly got back to me and said it seemed to be a problem with the Verizon SIM card on my wife's phone and offered to send us a free SIM card instead. While not as convenient as the sticker in my phone, which worked flawlessly, it was still a great option for saving cash and getting unlimited data for navigation and keeping in contact with loved ones at home. Wholeheartedly recommend this company for anyone who travels frequently.

Vietnam, Taiwan, and Bangkok, Thailand, were ...
Vietnam, Taiwan, and Bangkok, Thailand, were usable. However, in Myanmar, there was no 3G connection. Nevertheless, service costs are expensive. Buying a local prepaid Usim is a way of saving money.

Disappoint Experience
I was disappointed with my KnowRoaming experience. The service did activate on my first stop outside the country in Amsterdam, I flew to Barcelona, Spain and the service worked the first night with voice calls only. I was not able to get the data to work and texting. After the first night the service did not work. After I returned from my trip I noticed an email informing me that I had to update the firmware and to be fair to the service, it arrived before I left the country but It did me no good. I will update the firmware and attempt to use it in the future. It would help if there was a live help desk via internet as I did have internet access via my computer at the hotel.
