Interesting book! Wisdom from ancient India for modern times!
Another interesting book by Radhakrishna Pillai! Building on Chanakya's seven pillars- Swami, Amatya, Janpada, Durg, Kosha, Dand, and Mitra- that Pillai introduced in his best-selling book 'Corporate Chanakya', Pillai and Sivanandhan discuss how leaders can be successful by effectively leveraging these pillars. The book follows a consistent format, introducing one pillar at a time, then describing the pillar according to Chanakya, and finally using examples from Sivanandhan's police career to illustrate the theoretical concepts. Pillai's expertise lies in digging deep into Chanakya's work and bringing noteworthy incidents and episodes to life, making them relevant for modern times.

Good read for management leaders
Great book but scenarios from other personalities would have been good. But overall a good narration and can help management leaders

This book is Management 101
Absolutely brilliant adaptation of Chanakyas Arthashashtra with the awe-inspiring stories of the great and unheard Top Cop of Maharashtra. Make it a must-read book if you are studying management or have a goal to become a leader.

recommended read for everyone
I recommend this book to everyone. Regardless of what age you are, what profession you’re in, whether you are a student, a subordinate, the head of an organisation, do read this book. It is a relatively short read with simple and straightforward language, but it is highly insightful.
