Been looking for a locking jewelry armoire for YEARS!,,,,Finally saw this on Amazon! Didn't think It could be good, but other websites were charging $200 MORE! It got here yesterday. I LOVE IT! Beautiful! 7 drawers that open all the way out! My other drawers only came half way out! So aggravating! PLUS the top compartment & sides for more storage. Wood looks beautiful. For real wood, you pay about $700, but it looks very real & I paid $319. Looked ugly online! Greenish! But it is a beautiful expresso brown! So pretty! PLUS ALL THE DRAWERS LOCK! I keep my MEDS in bottom drawer, so when kids come I can lock them up! So good for when people do work in your house or kids under 5 yrs. visit. I am so Happy! I wish more armoires locked. It took me 7 years to find one W/ locking drawers that was big! U will never find a better price for such a beautiful piece. I know! I did the 7 year leg work! It came packed really well, too! The black velveteen interior will show all my silver color stuff. If you r on the fence....take a chance. I did & am so glad I did! AMAZON had t best price, too! It was $500 on other websites! I paid $319, no shipping! I saved $200, plus shipping costs! I waited for an armoire I loved. My previous 2 were duds! Gave 1 away that was too small, the other I will keep socks & gloves in. Drawers were too deep to see jewelry, as you had 2 layers of boxes. Hope u have success! Try other websites first if you want. I wasted SO many hours looking for years! I hate to think how many! What a relief! If youcan afford it, I think you will love it too. It comes w/ drawers LOCKED. So, find the keys n push on side to your right. It pops open. U will see key hole right near top. UNLOCK IT and behold your 7 drawers that all open! Most have a false drawer on top. This company thought of everything! Have fun!

This armoire is the most beautiful one I have ever seen. The seller takes great care in how it is shipped and the price you pay for shipping is well worth the money. It came in two boxes and was cellophane wrapped within the boxes. Due to the weight of the armoire, it was a pain to unpack but I truly appreciated that not one scratch was on the piece. All I can say is this addition to my bedroom décor is well worth every penny I paid for it.

Glad that I spent a little bit more on this jewelry armoire! It is very solid and well made. The color is actually darker than pictured but still works well with my bedroom furniture. I, as several other purchasers, noted a strange, chemical odor. After removal of the small packets to eliminate moisture in shipping, I think, found in several of the drawers, the odor went away in about 24 hrs. I also left the drawers and side compartments open for the 24 hrs.The locking mechanism is really a nice feature, as it locks all of the drawers. The side compartments and top portion do not lock. Many of the other armoires that I looked at only had a top drawer that was lockable.I only gave four stars, though I am very pleased with my purchase, because there were a couple of minor flaws in the finish. Overall a nice product!

The design of this chest is better than almost all others. It lost one star for the following reasons. The SMELL of whatever it is sprayed on it inside and out, is bad. It must be something to prevent vermin from taking up residence in shipping, etc. I aired it out for three days and sprayed it with an odor neutralizer product, but it still smells when I open the drawer or door that has been closed. I hope it eventually fades. The drawers are removable by pulling the drawer open as far as possible, then pressing the plastic stop-tab up, on the bottom back of each drawer. Not an easy task. Easy to put back in, however. The 4 small drawers are wonderful. Too bad the bottom three drawers are not also small, they waste space by being so deep. Too bad the top and side doors do not also have locks.

I love this jewelry box! It has seven locking drawers that are all lined. It is sturdy and easy to put the lid on. That was the only thing that needed to be assembled. It is a nice piece of furniture!

Arrived in a box that described the contents, which held another box, which was not labeled. The jewelry chest is well packaged for the long trip from China. The only assembly required is to screw the top mirror on to the hinge plate.It takes a while to find the keys and the mirror screws. Push inward on the side wing to open it, and there they are.The finish is nice, doesn't smell bad, as another reviewer had noted. The quality is pretty good, considering the country of origin.It was a Christmas gift, and was well received. If this is what you are looking for, this is a nice unit, but not made in the U.S., whichwould have been nice.

I looked a long time for an armoire that locked. I have lots of jewelry - some costume and some good things. I often have workers in my home and I didn't want to be worried about folks going through my various jewelry boxes. This is a lovely piece of furniture, and it holds almost all my jewelry. I even attached the top lid by myself! It was very well packaged and has no dings or scratches on it. I bought some jewelry dividers since five of the drawers didn't have them. Made it more functional for me. I consider this a very good purchase!
