Does what I expected.
I purchased this because I wanted to blend ice cubes in my smoothies and my smoothie machine is small. I also liked the size of the item because it fits in the freezer compartment of a small fridge. I’m living in barracks right now and the space is limited so it works well for me. I don’t fill it up because I don’t need much ice and I don’t want to make a mess. The water turns into ice within like 2 hours because they’re small. When it’s time to take them out I usually flip it upside down in a Tupperware, I’ve tried taking them out one by one but it’s too much of a hassle. As far a clean up I washed it with soap and water the first time but I usually just rinse it. Anyways I like it. It’s good for my small fridge and personal smoothies maker. I hope you find this review helpful.

Exactly what I was looking for!
This is exactly what I was looking for. I needed very small ice cube tray to freeze fruit juice that I could add into my USB micro blender to make frozen fruit smoothies. This is perfect. Will even work great to freeze flavored half and half, coffee and other endless possibilities to make blender frozen treats. It makes just enough (sweet pea size) cubes for one single serving. Approximately one cup of small square frozen cubes. I did find it a bit hard to empty once frozen, but with practice, it is getting easier. Hint, the way most of us older people are used to emptying ice trays by "twisting" to crack and the turn upside down to empty, doesn't work well on this very small tray. It is easier to turn upside down and push on the flexible silicone bottom, to pop frozen cubes out. Mine come out with each cube fully intact without breaking of cubes (perfectly formed tiny square frozen cubes!). Clean up is a breeze, most of time just run under hot water. It is a bit hard to fill if using anything other than water, especially if you don't want to waste whatever you are filling it with. But that is just the nature of trying to fill anything that has a bunch of small, close together openings. Setting it on a plate or shallow dish to catch spillage, to avoid waste works well and makes filling easier. It takes up very little space in the freezer and freezes quickly. I only bought one, so I don't know for certain if it would stack well, but looks like it could (I just don't know if once frozen, if the stacked trays would stick to each other). If looking for very, very small cubes for single serving size, I would recommend this item. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Makes perfect cubes, won't spill
The cubes are just the right size that surface tension holds the water in each cube. I can put it on a draw with other stuff that slides in and out of my freezer and it never spills. Super easy to make sure every cube is filled all the way and not overfilled.Only downside is that it's a little tricky to pop all the ice out because the cubes are so small, but if you press your thumb on the back of each square they'll pop out easily enough. you just have to do that for basically every cube, so it takes a while.

Is this an ice tray for ants?
Nothing wrong with this tray, it's just much smaller than I had imagined.

Makes good sized ice cubes, but...
I spill a lot of water while filling up the tray and transporting it to freezer. Then some more spills over once I place it in the fridge. The ice is somewhat difficult to remove and I have to poke out some of them by hand. Even when I run the back of the tray under warm water to loosen the ice it doesn’t make it all that easier.

Too many drawbacks
Bought for use as ice cube tray. It wasn't hard to fill, and was actually really easy to carry from the sink to the fridge. The surface tension of the water is so tight that you could tilt the tray to a 45 degree angle and no water would spill out. It was tedious to get all the ice cubes out. Annoying that you can't just pick them out and put them directly into a glass, you have to invert the whole tray over a mixing bowl or something, then set the mixing bowl dry the bowl before enjoying your drink. But the number one drawback is the size. I expected them to be small, but I overestimated the volume of ice each tray would produce. No joke, one whole tray only makes enough ice for a small 8oz water glass. It's for this reason I'll probably be returning, but not sure yet.

loved it!
I bought 2 of these to freeze my turmeric golden paste into serving size pieces. One batch of golden paste makes a lot and if refrigerated, it only stays good for a couple weeks. These trays allow me to preserve it for longer. My dogs and I both take golden paste every day.

Unusable Junk
These things are worthless. You can't easily get the ice cubes out. The only way I've found to release the cubes was to pop them out manually by pushing on the tray's back. Bending the tray just doesn't work at all. When you finally do release all the cubes sometime later, you get yourself a melting mess. You put the ice cubes in a bag to store them and all you get is a big clump because they all get frozen together. Plus, the total amount of cubes you get is equivalent in size to maybe two or three regular ice cubes.I threw mine in the garbage.

Four Stars
Made cubes are not quite 1cmx1cmx1cm. Definitely smaller than expected.
