Pocket size book , but greatly illustrated . If you are an artist , or a war historian and need a reference book this is a good one . If you have a kid or young person who is interested in warfare and the way people dress in the different time periods of human history this book is for you .

I guess I should have read the description of this book more closely before I bought it. I didn't realize that it was a small pocket-sized book - I was expecting a large coffee table-type book with large illustrations. It's way too small for my taste in uniform illustration.

What is this? Too small for useful reading either as information, inspiration, or reference. Too big for a pocket. Too little new content. Too expensive for a doorstop.

It was a dream to have an Osprey book because their illustrations are one of the best in World! This book is very very short but informative and starts from the very beginning of history to current world. Every page conatins illustration and concise information. It is a good deal.

Si lo adquieres a $300 pesos o menos, lo recomiendo sobremanera.Las ilustraciones son de excelente calidad.Las descripciones tienen rigor histórico.Es de pasta dura, con buena calidad de papel par aun libro de arte.El tamaño, en cambio, es pequeño, como un libro de bolsillo.

Per gli appassionati di storia e uniformologia una sintesi "sintetica": in poche decine di tavole non si può condensare un trattato di uniformologia che spazia dalla storia antica agli Spetsnaz. Ma per meno di 6 euro ottenete la versione kindle di un volume sempre interessante, che ha l'intrinseco vantaggio di poter zoomare nei dettagli le tavole, ovvero di potersele godere a colori su un tablet grande (e meglio ancora su un ipadpro o un Samsung galaxy view) . L'Autore, per altro, ha realizzato una serie di monografie sull'argomento che permettono agli appassionati di approfondire uno specifico settore .

Ich habe leider nicht auf das Format geachtet. Es ist mir für die tollen Grafiken einfach zu klein. Die Bilder stammen aus den üblichen Osprey-Veröffentlichungen und zeichnen einen Zeitraffer durch die Jahrhunderte der militärischen Ausrüstung/Uniformen.
