Great gift for my granddaughter
My granddaughter is very artistic and asked for animals to build a diorama. These were just perfect, she loved them.

Notice the dark seam across the wolf's back
I purchased this wolf figurine for my granddaughter. She loves all animals, has lots of figurines. This one is good quality, and she likes it. But one thing that I did not notice until after we received it is that it has a very pronounced dark line running from the top of one front leg, up the body and across its back, and down to the top of the opposite front leg. That dark line looks like a seam or connection joint as though the front half of the body was joined to the back half during manufacturing of the figurine, or as though that is the connection between two parts of the body that move/bend. After looking more closely, I can see that the same dark line IS very visible in the seller's photos of the figurine. It does not appear that this is a connection between the front and back parts of the body. And the wolf definitely doesn't bend. But we don't like that pronounced seam. If I had this purchase to make again, I would pick a wolf that does not have that seam across its back, if there is a different one available.I write honest revies to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. Lone wolf
I create landscapes made of wood, and I add animals to make the piece realistic. This particular wolf figurine worked well with this landscape.

Not the greatest paint job or body construction
Decided to keep it because my daughter didn't want to send back a "hurt" wolf - but the painting on the eyes is not the greatest (looking two different directions) and there is a big ridge on the back that is shown in the pictures but I didn't notice at first. The two pieces of the body aren't fused together nicely. Too bad - it would have been really nice outside of these two (major) things.
