Used to replace a single track flap type.
I have an older metal frame door with a single track for what used to be a weather strip “flap”. They. O longer manufacture this strip nor can I locate any aftermarket replacement. This was the only single track I could find. The “T” slider isn’t quite wide enough for my track so I used a clear weather sealant to attach and hold which worked fairly well, be sure to plan on not lowering the door for a while for the sealant to set (takes up to 7 days to cure but I couldnt leave it open more than a half day or so. Time will tell if it lasts.

Shorter than Ordered!
I ordered a 10 ft seal as my door is 9 ft long and wanted to assure enough length. Alas, I received it, installed it and it was STILL 4 inches to short. Not sure if they shipped a 8 ft one or what. I am returning it and ordering a 12 ft unit. Surely that will do the trick. As far a quality ,it came in an 18 inch long box, folded many times, the instructions DO state that in its wadded up form for shipping, it may take several days to expand. Hope so. I laid it on the floor in my house over night. Its 30 degrees outside here now and I am doubtful it will relax before spring.UPDATE!! I received my second seal, hoping they just shipped the wrong size the first time. NOPE! The second one I received was also only 8' 6" long. suppose to be 10'. What is their Problem?.

PERFECT For Discontinued Stanley Doors
I have been searching for the longest time for a solution to my discontinued Stanley garage door. This is just perfect. For easiest installation, I followed the advice of someone here who said to use a putty knife. I found it so much easier than trying to slide in with lubricant or soapy water. I popped it into the track inch by inch, and was done in about 15 minutes. Piece of cake, and it's a perfect replacement. Very happy.

It is not a bad product in all honesty
It is not a bad product in all honesty, but what ruins the product is the way it is packaged and shipped. It looks good, it fits in the track well, but due to the bends during shipping to pack it inside of the smallest box possible- the product once installed is subpar. It doesn't seal very well, and perhaps seals worse than the 10 year old one that it has replaced. This is because of all the deformities from the way it was packed, has left the seal smushed and crumbled to an extent that it will not seal even 1/4 inch gaps.Would not be a problem if you had perfectly flush floors and a perfectly straight door.Without going ahead and installing a threshold, I would have had no protection.

Great for T-Channel Garage Doors
Use this to replace both garage door seals and it was a great fit. Not sure what other people were saying that it was too short. After installing on both doors, I had about 1.5 foot left. The packaging does kink the seal, but after installing, I ran a heat gun on the kinks to get them out.

it would have been nice to have a helping hand to pull it from ...
Got this installed in about 30 mins. That includes taking the old off and installing this new one. I did this by myself, by rubbing dish washing soap on the T as I pushed it through the track. After I got half way through, it would have been nice to have a helping hand to pull it from the other side as I guided it in the track. It has a decent seal but I feel the bulb could be another .5" - 1" larger for my garage.

Fits well.
Perfect for the price. Not as thick as the original but serves the purpose of blocking gaps. Kinks in folding don't go a way but are hardly noticeable. Turned out I needed the bead lip rather than the "T" but was able to force it in the slot w/ a painters tool and tedious pressing. Recommend setting the down stop to ~1" to let the rubber tube slightly press the ground rather than the weight of the door mashing it. Will probably last much longer that way.

some parts are so flattened that cannot provide a complete seal.
Minor shortcoming: I could not get it fully rounded, even after I pumped some air with the other end closed. Consequently, there are 3 small gaps that light can go through, not a complete seal. Otherwise, a good product.

Worked great for my old metal door
Worked great for me. I wish it had a foam core so it was a little stiffer but it beat anything I could buy locally for fitment.

Cheap thin material
It was pretty inexpensive and I guess you get what you pay for. It doesn't really hold it's shape very well. It took about a week to settle and I can still see light coming from under the ends of the door.
