Great product
I rented other machines that were 8 times more the cost and they didn't drill as good as this unit did. Worked all day in the heat and never shut down or had any problems. I'm going to buy another one for the next job with the rolling base. Would recommend to anyone. hanks.

Seems pretty good and a lot cheaper than other core drills.
This is hundreds of dollars less than other core drill sets. It seems a very good value for the money. Very sturdy components. Pretty easy to set up. Instructions are OK, there could be more information on use. There is better information on-line on how to use core drills. I bought this 8' version because I was going to drill 4" hole in granite rock for fence post, so I wanted more power than the 4" rated model. The wrenches that come with it don't work on all the parts an pieces that you need to adjust. A 22mm wrench or a larger crescent wrench is helpful. The off-on switch is a little strange, but it works. The biggest thing I would change on it would be to have a multi-speed option. That would make it easier to start in un-level rock and you could slow it down when you hear the motor start to work hard. I blew a 20 amp breaker when the bit got stuck on removal. I think using a 30 amp breaker would be better. It will shut down if it overheats but that means it's getting damaged. It still gets the job done and would do a 12" deep hole in under 10 minutes. Very glad I bought this.

Works great!
I am a plumbing contractor. The stand is a bit smaller than my other machines but it is much easier to mount and transport. We core 8-12" concrete walls, 18-24" concrete encased sewer mains and 18-24" stone walls so far and no problems. I was a little skeptical but the machines performance has definitely won me over. I would buy again.

Seguridad

Great drill for the price
The media could not be loaded. I drilled 5-5” holes 1-4” holes, and 13-3” holes through 7” of concrete. This drill paid for itself in one day on the job site. A great buy. Make sure you set the support lag well.

Never had a butt whoopin like this gave me.
Needs a bigger and heavier base you can actually stand on. This drill is so awkward it swept me straight off my feet when the 6" bit caught some rebar, and threw me 5 feet away. Broke my toe and possibly fractured my arm and shoulder. All of the ones i have used before had a huge base and weighed double. When the bit catches, it stops. This one you better run. It only stopped because it twisted up the cord and pulled it out. The switch is in a terrible location. No safety consideration. No doubt it has surprising power. Like a civic with a 7.5l v8. I will be building a better base in which two ppl can stand.

Does the job, expected more for the price
I cut several 6" holes through 12 inches of solid concrete with steel cables inside, between 10 to 30 minutes each. Normally they take me about 4 hours to do by hand with an SDS drill. The SDS cost about ten times less than this monster, but time is money I guess.Pros: simple, no frills, strong, well made, quick customer service, durable, shiny (for a couple uses), sturdy, very fast, accepts regular garden hose, water flow adjustmentCons: once in a while it still pops a 20 amp breaker I wired specifically for only it, instructions were worse than a foreign language booklet, pricey for what you get, includes wrenches you're paying for whether you need them or not, delivery box contents were spilled and floating all over inside, the motor is throwing off a lot black dust which means the brushes will need replacing, drill included a lot of accessories without any explanation of what they were and I needed to contact Bluerock to find out (only to be told I need to learn more about this machine sold to the general public on Amazon, after courteous and prompt explanation), no easy way to swivel or tilt the drill to remove core from bit in the middle of drilling, water hose clamps were leaking and loose, water hose touches drill bit without interventionI'd buy it again because the options are this, the dirt cheap Chinese disposable coring drill, or a more serious one for a couple grand.

Great tool for great price
I have used core drills many times and rented them or worked for companies that owned expensive ones. This one worked perfect and would recommend to anyone looking for a small investment into a great tool. We also purchased the 5 inch bit and extension. Everything worked great.
