How can I put this...?
There's something about this album that I just can't explain clearly to people. I hated it the first time I listened to it. But for the life of me I couldn't stop thinking about it. Then I listened to it again. Then again. And again. Now it is without a doubt one of my favorite albums of its genre (but is it punk? hardcore? hipster-lite? I just couldn't tell you). It's short, but certainly not sweet. It draws you in, makes you think about that one time you loved someone you couldn't have. The lyrics are well written, hard hitting, and delivered in a sour, throaty shouting that encompasses the band's harsh and gritty, but accessible sound. It's a short album. I've found myself listening to it twice on the way to work and twice on the way back and it never feels old or outlived. If only I could feel the same way about their most recent release. Alright rant over. Just buy it. In vinyl.

This is by far the best Joyce Manor album. It has a very raw punk sound with excellent lyrics.

WRONG ALBUM
I ordered this record as a gift for my friends birthday and instead I received Peter Criss from Kiss’s solo album. Hope to receive the real Joyce Manor album when I order again

Love this album!
I had a friend refer this band to me, I listened to them and I thought they sucked! The vocals were really annoyed, the guitars sounded like crap...but then I heard 'Constant headache' and BOOM, the whole album came together for me. I bought the record from hot topic, it was a clear vinyl. Looked really cool, but no mp3 code. So, I bought the mp3 album from here. Obviously I went from hating them to loving them. The music is awesome, a lot of the songs are talking about being a loner, depressed, dealing with life. The album/songs are short and straight to the point. I dig it! I have to stop myself from listening to it too often, so I don't get burnt out on it lol!
