This is my second time attempting to get this rack, the first time it was failed to be delivered over the course of almost 3 weeks. Now that I have an actual box to unpack, I start to assemble this thing which is quite easy. One of the "coupler busings", double screw type tube, is completely defective and will not hold 1/4 bars together. So already I cannot build this thing as there is nothing else left to support this, can't wrap anything around it or you can't slide the racks through. This could have been avoiding by adding a 5th one for safety measure, in hopes that 5th one is not defective as well.The "lower bars" which would be on the surface, are not polished/sanded down, and will rip up my carpet where I wish to put the rack. The product was not inspected for such sharp un-sanded surface stubs. Or the seller just does not care.To add insult to the whole situation, there is a note of cut resistant gloves, a 25 dollar value for "free" to be included in the package. In return they will like a good rating, well, there are no gloves, and nor does that bring functionality to this flimsy bar with a defective piece.I cannot use this rack, I would rather trash it than send it back because it has been such a waste of time to get anything done with this seller.

I like these shelves. They are just what I needed, at a great price point. I would not call them "heavy duty" though. More like "medium duty". I doubt each shelf could hold 350lbs. Perhaps 100-150lbs with some sagging? I have a 7 gallon container of water (about 58lbs) on a shelf, and the shelf flexes a bit. These are not nearly as strong as the Metro line from The Container Store, but at 1/3 the cost, a much better deal if you don't need the strength the Metro line provides. The welds seem to be of good quality but not all of the wires are straight; some are curved, wavy or a little bent. This does not seem to affect performance however.. I would definitely buy these again...planning to pick another one up in the near future as a matter of fact.

Best price around, more than adequate to handle any weight my kitchen organizing needs can provide it. I bought an extra shelf (Honey-Can-Do) here on Amazon and Sterilite containers at WalMart to maximize space in my tiny log cabin kitchen. Total cost with plastic storage and extra shelf still cheaper than buying at Lowes or Home Depot. Much larger than any of the Baker's Racks I could find. I now have much more storage and much more counter space using the middle shelf and on my actual counters.

I like how these look in my garage remodeling project. They were a little tedious to put together, but really what I expected and all of these shelves go together this way. I wish that the shelves themselves had more support wires so that smaller Items would be better supported, but to get this feature you have to spend a ton more money and buy commercial grade shelving. May have to invest in or fabricate liners for some of the shelves. There are not a lot of choices in a 14 inch depth six foot high shelf so I was glad to find these after a lot of searching. The packaging was good and they arrived with no damage and on time. The only problem I encountered was that one of the upright sections had defective thread machining so that you could not tighten the two sections together. I did not want to wait for a new section, so I used J B Weld on that sections threads to ensure that it would hold together. All the plastic pieces that hold the shelves snapped on correctly and it was nice that the shipper included extras just in case. I did add wheels and empty they roll well. Remains to be seen after they are loaded up. One thing to know is that the uprights are not matched in the boxes that they are packaged with so make sure that you identify the difference and screw them together properly so the adjuster will be in the correct placement on the bottom of the upright.1/9/18 Just want to add that the seller also claims to offer a free gift if you review this purchase which I did. Not really a big deal, but did not receive anything so far. emailed seller about this a few weeks ago and they said they were busy because of the season so it would come later. To repeat this is not a big deal to me, but coming from a retail background if you promise something with a purchase you should follow through.

Reading the ad you heavy duty this and heavy duty that. This thing is NOT heavy duty. First right out of the box I had to clean the threads to screw the poles together and 2 poles just spun instead of tightening up.Second all of the poles lack the indents to hold the clips. Some of them seem to be to shallow when compared to other shelving. Finding enough to hold shelf clips without sliding down too forever.So when I finally got it together I had added wheels to the screw on bottom of the poles placed 350 lbs (spread out over a few shelf's) and when to wheel to the back of the shop. After 4 ft the insert just fell out bending the lip of the pole. I had compared the poles and these poles are way thinner metalOver all its nothing but a waste of time, go find another brand

I personally Love these types of shelves. Ive worked in kitchens and restaurants for a long time and came to appreciate the ease/durability and cleanliness of these types of shelves a long time ago. Very multi-functional and we actually have about 5 now inside our house and the garage.Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is 1 of my shelves was damaged in shipping and is slightly bent. I noticed it but its not severe enough to warrant getting a replacement piece so not a big deal.this is the first time ive ordered this type of shelf off amazon though before now ive always ordered directly from the manufacturer

The shelves are extremely weak, missing a lot of support, the shelf surface wiring goes the wrong way making it difficult to slide product on and off. All my 'real' NSF shelves have wiring going front to back for easy sliding. I highly doubt these shelves are actually NSF certified; I have real NSF shelf units with the same design and mine are substantially stronger than theses ones... I'd guess 5 to 10 times stronger

This shelving unit's construction is lighter than what I have received in the past. It still seems adequate to my needs, but I am skeptical that it can hold the specified weight. One shelf (out of 10 for two units) had a broken weld. And unlike similar, beefier versions that I have, the shelves do not have a reinforcing segment down the middle. These are 36" wide; when compared to the 48" version it's clear the wire is not as thick.

Went together really easy. Supplied a few extra parts. We were keeping our wine stored in our Den and have had quite a few go bad. Probably from heat. Wanted to move them to the basement and found this metal rack. Loaded it up and it's really sturdy. The wine is easily seen for selection. If we need to store more than the 45 bottles, more could be stacked on top of the other bottles. Bottoms of the legs are adjustable to accommodate uneven floor conditions. I am going to try to contact them to see if I could buy a couple of extra shelves for the unit. There is definitely room for them.

Had a wire shelving rack for over 10 years and wanted to add wheels to make it versatile. Used for storage in front of a bookcase and cabinet. Wheels replace existing screwed on levelers. Wheels are sturdy, have locks and replaces (screws into) into existing wire rack shelf upright poles. Appears to be OEM locking wheels that my other wheeled wire shelving rack came with. Satisfied with purchase. Would buy again, if I needed to retro fit another wire shelving rack.

The height of my shelfs is 7/8” or 15/16” they’re not an inch tall. In my picture the chrome shelf is attached the poles & is the support shelf. The black shelf has the poles removed & is hanging by the U-Brackets. The brackets are very strong, rigid & work well. However, with my shelves the bracket is too deep & the shelves are misaligned. I need to find something to insert under the hanging shelf, in the pocket of the “U”, to make it level.

Great hooks for steel/chrome shelving. Really helps to allow all kinds of stuff to hang off edges of shelves like dog leashes, aprons, lunch bags, fly swatters, extra pans, dish towels, to name just a few of the things hanging in my kitchen...the garage is even busier. Can't have too many of these, in my opinion. Go for it! Highly recommend!

I am totally loving my shelving! I didn't think I could get good, sturdy, quality shelves this inexpensive...well, color me impressed. Very easy to put together by myself and holds a good bit of weight. I bought the shelf liners and use it in my pantry so the depth is perfect for my oversized turntables.

Showed up, rack wire looks wavy and bent. It is super thin. Just so cheaply made, I am literally done buying stnads or furniture from amazzom. Now I gotta waste my time packing up this bent up hunk of junk, made in China-only the best. They should have included a couple Made In China t give it a little bit more pizazz.

Got a unit that was missing a few black holders but wanted to extend it anyway to get the most amount of space. These worked great.Only downfall is when putting them together they easily move side to side with nothing stopping them. You'll have to reposition after getting it all together but nothing to knock the product on.
