I was very skeptical about purchasing this when my daughter asked for it for Christmas. The reviews I was seeing was hit and miss. I am so glad I purchased this! It is so cute and the perfect size for her room. It is very bright and no assembly required. Plug it in and turn on the switch. She had it on for hours yesterday and it looks great! I do recommend this product.

I purchased this product as a recommendation for my son who has Cerebral Palsy so I was looking for sensory friendly option gift ideas. He absolutely loves it. The battery life is great. This is easy to use. Great for space saving as it doesn’t take up as much space as a real fish take. The brightness and color settings are easy to use. Great option. Especially for those with sensory disabilities.

This Lightahead Sensory Artificial Aquarium is really a beautiful piece of handiwork. It's beautiful to watch especially at night. It comes with a cord to plug into the wall, so no worries about batteries. The brightness is awesome. The only thing is that after using it awhile it starts making a noise and it continually gets louder. Now I can't even use it. I ordered an extra one for my friend and so far her aquarium is doing okay. I wish I could have found out the noise before it was too late to send back. I just can't afford to buy another one.

Alright I’m coming to give another update. What is going ON!!! I got my replacement in this morning, I plugged it in and YAY the light works! But now it doesn’t spin. This product is so mid guys, I’ve tried ordering TWICE and each time it has been broken in some way. I don’t know what the deal is!! I’m so frustrated and bummed out! Don’t buy this, don’t support this company, it came broken TWICE!! Giving up on my frutiger aero aesthetic dreams. UGH!! :( Another update, my girlfriend took it apart and the cords inside of it aren’t long enough to be touching what they need to touch?? So it’s just made incredibly cheap?? Is there ANY type of product testing before they are shipped out? Like literally just plug it in guys :/ Original review I opened it and immediately wanted to plug In to relive my 2000s childhood memories, and the light doesn’t work at all :( It just spins… which is great, bc the original light I kept from my childhood doesn’t spin anymore, but it still lights up. Thought I could use this as a replacement, but now I just have two broken lamps :( (For reference, the one made in 2005 lasted me into my adult life, just recently burning out)

Bought for a gift, makes a soothing night light. Perfect for keeping youngsters attention at bedtime. Actually a nice distraction from everyday chores

I live in the US and the package was shipped with Amazon and not an external company. It works fine but you need to read the instructions! It is only a fire hazard if it’s left ON for over 8 Hours! Make sure to turn it off every one once in a while. :)! About the noise.. it’s also a hit or miss. Since it’s like a lamp that’s made based off revolving film I’m guessing this happens sometimes when the film isn’t in the right position, it’ll make a humming sound. It normally fixes itself if you leave it on for a while, turn it off turn it back in after a while and you’ll be good to go! Hope this helps!

It’s just like what I had as a kid! My cat even likes watching it. There is a bit of noise when it’s turned on but it’s not super loud, and I personally like the bit of white noise.

Produkt wird in Deutschland angeboten obwohl es mit einem US-Stecker ( 110V) nur betrieben werden kann. Habe mir extra einen Adapterstecker kaufen müssen um das Gerät auszuprobieren mit dem Ergebnis, die Fischfolie dreht sich nicht mit. Ursache ist die zu große Folie, die von dem Mitnehmer nicht mehr gezogen werden kann. Ich frage mich warum ein solches Produkt in Deutschland angeboten wird, obwohl man seitens des Lieferanten im Vorfeld weiß, das es nicht ohne Adapter elektrisch angeschlossen werden kann.
