Purchased this for my grandson. It is very realistic. Not a cheap plastic. In fact it pretty heavy. It's a little big on him and he's 11 but he loves it. Guarantee he could keep this around for his kids when he grows up because it's that well made.

Great Replica for Price - 1 Caveat
For the money, I think this is a great replica U.S. WWII helmet despite some minor details that most people (non-WWII purists) will never notice. I would have given it 5 Stars except for the "stickers" that make up the spade, rank, etc. that you see in the picture. They are essentially worthless, would not look good on the helmet and don't even stick well if you do use them. I used the "spade" outline in an attempt to act as a stencil. The "sticker" didn't stay attached despite multiple additional painters tape while I spray-painted the stencil. As such, I got a less than perfect spade on the side with spray paint going under the stencil. I used the helmet as a lampshade for one of my "mancave" lights and it looks pretty good. For $50 bucks, I'm good with it but would prefer to have it look as sharp as in the Amazon picture.The pluses are the helmet is solid though. It does fit an adult head well and this is definitely not some cheap kids toy. Over all, very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Realistic and Good Weight
This is an amazing helmet replica. First thing I noticed was the weight, feels like it could actually take a bullet.Everything is very customizable from netting to chin strap and leather strap. Sits well on the head and is actually an inner fit, inner helmet, then exterior helmet.You will not be disappointed!

Great quality
The helmet overall looks very authentic. My 12 year old grandson loves it. He says the stickers look painted on and the straps are a nice feature. The inside feels good and no complaints!
