Long time K tape user that tried this because of the price point difference between the branded K tape and the longer length available.It does not stick as well. I was pretty disappointed about this, actually, because it claims to stick up to 5 days. On my arm, the ends began releasing up within minutes of application. I followed all the usual pre-taping routines, so it really shouldn't have happened. The ends were not subjected to rubbing by clothing or other items either. Used it multiple times on the same area, I even had the Hubs participate to double check I wasn't skipping something to cause the sticking issue. I had to use it on my hand at one point (supporting a broken thumb) and it will not hold up to hand washing. (which made me question the 'sticks up to 5 days' claim....)It has a VERY strong smell to it. Strong enough that it is noticeable a few feet away for at least 15 minutes after application. Enough for the Hubs to ask what the smell was (and not in a nice way).After repeated use on the same area I did develop a reaction to the adhesive, which is something I've never done with other brands. It went away quickly after I removed the tape, but still, be aware of it.It has "Black Magic Tape' every few inches, in white letters, all along the tape. Okay, I understand it's advertising, but seriously? When I have to wear it in a highly visible area, like lower arm, it is annoying and draws extra attention to something I don't really need or want to draw extra attention to.It did do a passable job, with the ends flipping up, of supporting the area. If they could stop the end flapping issue it would probably be more desireable.No, I didn't contact the seller as I don't think a refund is necessary. I bought it, I'll use it. If you use a LOT of K tape, this could work for you, I suppose. Especially if you only use it during a workout and remove it.

I've tried numerous brands of KT tape and this one unequivocally stays attached longer. I need to apply the tape to my knees and as I sweat a lot while running, have been through several brands that start to curl off within a half hour and completely lose its stickiness before the conclusion of my run. But THIS tape stays on through my run, in the shower, AND through another run the next day. I love it.Right out of the package, it has a weird smell, kind of like... permanent marker, but it goes away. Totally worth it.

While all of these types of tape that I ordered and tried performed well this seemed to be just a bit better.The intial " tack / grab / hold " seemed to be best while the others seemed to depend on body heat / time to gain full tack.The other tapes would roll up when I put my socks and shoes on , had to fight with that.The black magic did not roll up when socks or shoes were put on immediately after wrapping my ankle.

Just some FYI on this product I use and believe tape does help muscle ache and tendon and even joint pain my days playing football from a young age into high school and college ball all injuries were taped by the trainer and tape has come a long way from the plastic white rolls used 30 years . I was taught by many over the years the proper was to apply and wrap the affected area. And by far the product has a very chemical smell not something I want on my skin for a long period but youwill not have to worry about because there claim it stays on for 5 days is false and yes I followed all instructions. By far and I have tested many brands KT Tape is the best smells fine bends at greater angles and stay on as claimed.I also like the fiber KT is made of bette materialr than Black macic like sheets the more thread count the better. Thank you for reading my review not so much the 12$ more about helping the pain of life.

I like the KT tape better, but this is great for the price. It does last a long time, even through showers. It's just that you need to take it off after the 2nd practice because it is a cloth like material and it does hold moisture.

Ehhh. Doesn't stick for very long on me. The product should also explain where and how to apply this for max benefit. I did receive email instructions on how to cut it and stick it on. But no info on how it works and how to place it places that will help with pain and support.

I've used every KT tape on the market. Yes, Black Magic smells when you first open the box, but it is the ONLY tape that STAYS ON FOR DAYS. I swim everyday and Black Magic remained on my back and legs for five days. Amazing adhesive. Thank you!

I gave this 3 stars due to the smell. I wish I would have read reviews which i usually do. I did cut up in presized pieces for my foot after opening and putting roll outside which helped some. They advise to open and allow ink to dry to remove odor.** I originally gave this 3 stars, but was contacted y the company with regrets to an error in the process not allowing the ink to dry before rolled up and causing odor for that batch. I was sent a replacement roll with no odor. Otherwise this is strong stuff, holds well and the company customer service is bar none...I hope all those that receive 'smelly' rolls will get a replacement.
