Worded perfect
Needed to raise up a TV as the new dresser was a tad short making it feel low if sitting in bed. Found this which was going to give me a decent lift of over 6". It's sturdy, easy to put together and served the purpose perfectly. Some people mention a cross bar underneath so I included a photo of that. Extends down about an inch and provides the cross support. So take into account if you need to slide a piece of equipment under it..... like if you still have a vcr it might not fit. Most equipment now is pretty slim so would be too big of an issue. I just had a small clock and cable box so was fine. It's very sturdy when done and has no problem providing a sturdy base for the TV. Recommend!

Perfect!
So a standard desk is 28-30" high. As you sit in your chair in front of a monitor, the center of the monitor is typically anywhere between 4-6" BELOW your eye level. That made my head tilt downwards causing neck stiffness when in front of the computer for long periods of time. I bought this to lift the display up by another 5". It was important for me to do this since I use this on a digital pen display. This stand helps greatly in reducing the parallax effect that can cause inaccuracy when you draw on the screen. Now that it is lifted, I can digitally trace much better. The stand is made out of solid wood and painted black. It has a nice grain texture to it and is sufficiently thick. The manufacturer of this stand used a combination of wood dowels you glue in the holes and locking cam bolts and cam locks. This was a smart decision and keeps the stand from wobbling. Installation is super easy, taking about 15 minutes. One of the nice things is that it is wide enough to slide a long gaming keyboard underneath it to take advantage of desk space. To prevent scratching of the surface, 4 small plastic standoffs can be used. Very useful!

Affordable solution to my problem
I have a 40" Sony TV that sits on my bedroom dresser. Unfortunately, the infrared sensor that allows the remote to work is located on the bottom-center of the TV. Thus, when I purchased a soundbar and placed in in front (the only place it would fit) the sensor was blocked and my remote would not work. Looking to solve the problem I purchased this riser. This riser isn't fancy, but does everything I could possibly expect it to do. Assembly is simple. Many of us have bought items where things don't fit together as well as they should during the assembly process. Absolutely not a problem here. All of the pieces fit perfectly. The little wooden dowels fit into their holes without having to be sledgehammered in. There was nothing tricky about it. Once it is all put together I can confirm the most important aspect - it is sturdy. Absolutely. My TV weighs around 13 pounds I think, but I would not hesitate to put something significantly heavier on this. It is stable and doesn't wobble or shift. There is a support bar that takes away a bit of the useable space underneath the riser. I have no problem fitting my old DVD player under it. If I were using this for a more complete home entertainment center type of thing, there could probably be a problem fitting a larger component underneath. For my needs it is sufficient. I feel it's a fair price for the function and stability that it provides. Not much else to say, but I'm very glad I bought it.

Great little riser for extra shelf space
This is a great piece if you need a little bit of shelf room and want to put things underneath. I've ordered one similar in the past without issue, but this one for some reason looked to be covered in bits of fiberglass. Had to make sure to clean up every little shred that may have been left behind, but it was all over the pieces and left my hands feeling itchy.

Perfect: The Designs2Go Small TV/Monitor (24Lx16Dx6H) suits my needs pefectly. First of all, it is well packaged and the instructions were easy to follow. If you have ever put together a camlock/cambolt kit before you'll have no problems. Plus they give you enough wood glue to get every thing glued down snugly. Once assembled the riser is very solid and stable. It took 15 minutes max to put together. I bought it to raise my larger, 20x11.6inch monitor, above the top edge of my laptop monitor. The monitor already sat atop a 5-inch Allsop riser so now the bottom of the large monitor sits a couple of inched higher than the top of the laptop monitor. I do a lot of flight simming and design add-ons for flight simulators. My old desktop "main-frame" simming computer recently bit the dust. Luckily I had everything backed up. As a temporary stop gap I started using my newer HP G7 Pavilion to do my flgiht-simming work and play. However the small screen on the laptop just didn't cut it either for fine-detailed add-on designing or for the immersive fun part of simming. So now I run the simulators on the big monitor and everything else on the laptop monitor, And when not in use the laptop fits easily inside the riser compartment.

Ham Radio Approved - Perfect fit for Icom 7300/9700 without modification!
Perfect fit for a pair of Icom 7300/9700 units with plenty of room for cable management, power, coax, and ventilation. I was initially concerned about the central brace underneath, but there is about 1/2" of clearance between the brace and the tops of the radios if they are tilted up on their OEM desk stands. Easy to assemble, lots of surface area, sturdy, and perfect for ham station applications. Nice clean look in a variety of colors. This is the desk stand you want for your radios! 73, W4UYE

Wider then it looks
Easy to assemble, seems sturdy, little rubber feet you affix to keep it from sliding are excellent. Either I didn’t pay attention to dimensions or it’s misleading, it’s wider then what I needed for the application I needed it for so I may cut it in half on a table saw but not sure. I do like it as a riser for my secondary computer screen used in conjunction with my laptops which puts the bottom of monitor screen at the top of laptop screen. I like that they include wood glue in the parts kit for gluing the dowels in the holes (which I have not done yet).

This is exactly what is says, It fits my 55" television with ease, (make sure you measure the tv leg stand as it won't fit my other 55" tv). Very sturdy, but had to find a video of another but similar product to assemble, once I did that it was easy.
