Captain Sports Adjustable Knee Brace with Lateral Supports - Size Large

Like most sleeve products, this one runs tight. I measured exactly and should have been able to use a Lg but ordered an XLg and it still was too tight at the top. I was also disappointed in that there wasn't a defined patella ring as I thought the sales text had indicated. Otherwise it's okay.

Over the years my knee problems have improved to the point where I don't need the most deluxe or advanced support. With that in mind I ordered this one. I used it yesterday to play 2 games of doubles handball. This morning I was somewhat sore in most areas of my body except my knees. This means that this support offered good protection and did the job.My only minor complaint is that it's very thin. For that reason I don't recommend this if you have very serious knee problems like I once did. For the more serious knee problems I recommend the Shock Doctor Ultra which is also sold on Amazon.The Captain knee brace has adjustable straps and is helpful for mild to moderate sprains or strains in your knee area. I ordered large, by the way, and it fits perfectly. The circumference around the middle of my knee measures close to 16". If you're bigger or smaller you might want to consider a different size. Overall I would definitely recommend this for most knee problems. Because it's thin it's also good to use when playing sports such as tennis, handball and raquetball. More physical sports such as basketball or wrestling might require a more deluxe or advanced brace.

I have had one of these for several years and have liked it. Like everything else though it has been made cheaper and cheaper and is nowhere near as good as my previous one. Too Bad.
