Peas, Love and Carrots: The Best-Selling Kosher Cookbook

I absolutely love this cookbook! The food is so flavorful and it’s made me a better cook! Highly recommend !

This is a MUST. I just got the cookbook on Friday, and I think it is now one of my favorites, and I have quite the collection. The recipes are sooo yummy. I can’t even count how many of them I want to make. What is so great about this cookbook is that Danielle gives you many suggestions of ideas about you can customize recipes to your liking or what you have. You don’t have cutlets, use chicken on the bone or chicken thighs. It’s brilliant and so much more than a cookbook. It’s like a conversation between friends. She’s also intersperses the recipes with some humor. She really poured her heart and soul into the recipes and this book, and it shows. The flavors of so many of the recipes are beyond. I just made the all purpose poultry marinade which has lemon, herbs and jalapeño and it was over the top delicious. She has a real sense of how to combine flavors. Can’t wait to cook with this book. Not to mention the pictures are gorgeous. None of the photos of her food were touched up. Danielle wants YOU to be able recreate what she did at home. I could go on and on. I What makes this also so special is that I have been following her on Instagram and have been privileged to see the unfolding and development of this book. It’s really such a special book. Do yourself a favor and buy this book.

If I could give this cookbook 10 stars, I would. After spending 2 weeks in Israel during March 2020, I fell in love with Isreali food (and the culture). I am certainly missing the food here in the US and want to learn how to cook some of the dishes. I wasn't sure about spending so much money on a cookbook, but after receiving it, I can tell you that it is worth every penny. It is beautifully written (I love all her details about each recipe and all of her notes in the beginning). Gorgeous pictures and easy instructions. I just received the book so I haven't tried the recipes yet, but can't wait. The ingredients used are not hard to get and many are already in my spice cabinet since I cook daily. I cannot wait to jump into this book. You can tell that the author wrote this with love and dedication. I highly recommend this cookbook.

I used to love cooking and then had 4 kids and life got busy. I found myself making really quick dinners that I wasn’t really proud of. After finding this cookbook, that is really so much more than a cookbook, I’m back in the kitchen and loving it! I feel like I can hear Danielle’s voice as I read through it and it’s almost like she’s holding my hand as I make the recipes. I’ve bought 5 of these that I keep giving as gifts. It’s so wonderful and my Moroccan husband is thrilled! Danielle is like the Moroccan MIL I never had (mine doesn’t give exact measurements and just says put some of this and some of that and then I have to daven that it turns out like hers). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating this beauty! And as an author I know the hard work that goes into each and every page so I truly appreciate this masterpiece so much!Lots of love!

I’ve only had this amazing cookbook for a week, sharing my fave recipes so far, but can’t wait to read it cover to cover and then dive in and make more recipes. I’ve followed Danielle @peaslovencarrots on Instagram for a few years now and I can’t stress enough how wonderful her content and especially her stories are, she is passionate, funny, kind, clever and just so helpful whether it be tips and tricks in the kitchen or tours of Jerusalem and other parts of Israel, sharing her beloved family including her children, husband and parents and brothers. The book is so authentic to who she is and where she came from, it’s truly spectacular. 350+ recipes all with the most beautiful pictures and graphics. You will not be disappointed, except as I write this there is only 1 copy in stock, get it quick before she sells out again!

I absolutely LOVE Danielle’s cookbook!! This cookbook makes a wonderful coffee table book AND a cookbook of course! She has full page photos, which were beautifully taken! The recipes are extremely well written and I love all of the tips & tricks she includes with her recipes! She is so very down-to-earth and makes you feel like you are cooking with your best friend!The recipes are VERY easy to follow and have great explanations. She includes a section at the front on how to read a recipe. Why is this important? Because I have yet to find a recipe book that teaches this! I can happily gift this book to young adults just learning how to cook. It’s got everything you need all rolled into one! You truly NEED this cookbook in your life and you will love what you make!

I bought this book because it has kosher recipes and have seen the author doing demonstrations on Kosher.com.It not only gives recipes,but shortcuts and ideas on how to use the ingredients. Nice cookbook,and some healthy savory recipes.

As someone who follows Danielle Renov on Instagram, I've heard her stories/videos many times. Reading through her cookbook, I kept hearing Danielle's voice as well as seeing the gestures she uses when storying. This long awaited/anticipated cookbook is easy to read/follow, very well organized and filled with tips to help you make each dish. Not only are the recipes organized by appetizers, salads, soups, chicken, etc, but also within each group, they start at easiest/least expensive on up to (possibly) more complicated/special/expensive ingredient wise. AND if that wasn't enough, there's an index that lists different recipes for different "audiences" such as children, picky eaters, etc. Although I live by myself, I can see myself using this cookbook A LOT in the future!
