Nice backyard fun flying paper planes
What you get in this box is an instruction booklet with a few origami papers. The instructions are easy to follow. Kids will mostly need adult help for the more complex designs.I am not sure why anyone would rate this 1 star.. It's a decent product.

Not easy
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this book. It is not a book of easy-to-make paper airplanes. The planes involve intricate folding, cutting, and gluing. The author has compiled a number of interesting planes, but they are not easy to make. I found the instructions unclear at times, and could not complete one is the planes.

Very difficult for adults. Impossible for children.
If your child has mastered aerospace engineering, this is the book for you! If your kindergartener is not a prodigy, this will cause endless frustration for the entire family. Easy should not be in the title. The graphics are difficult to understand, require rulers, tape, glue, and more patience than my child or I have.

Advanced Paper Airplanes
The planes are interesting, the book is clearly written and the included paper is of nice pattern and quality. However, the other reviews are on target: these planes are NOT "easy". They are at the level of a motivated teenager or adult. For a person of this skill level, this kit could be fun. All the publisher needs to do is relabel this as "Advanced Paper Airplanes" and they will be all set.

Agree with other reviews that these are NOT easy. Even the basic design requires measuring
Agree with other reviews that these are NOT easy. Even the basic design requires measuring, cutting and pasting. My 6 year old enjoyed the measuring, but got very frustrated, even with me helping. Does come with thick origami papers.

Hard paper airplanes that don’t fly well
These planes are hard to assemble, requiring glue and lots of cutting. And the one I built didn’t even fly well. Why are these so complex when paper airplanes that fly better can be made from folding a single piece of paper? Check out books by John Collins instead.

Total dud.
Barely worth one star! These are NOT EASY and actually have no redeeming value. My son just got this as a gift for his 10th birthday. He LOVES making paper airplanes and his good friend thought he would like it. At first glance it looks like a GREAT gift....but... these planes are very intricate designs, and with the included paper you are left with an airplane that looks like a clown show and won't fly! I sat down to help him with the jumbo jet as he was having difficulty. After about an hour we both gave up. We could see that it was not only going to look lame using the included paper, but would also never fly...what's the point!? Worst product ever. Who decided this was a good idea to mass market!? Sheesh.
