I used to buy paracord all the time for tasks and to have for practically any situation, but this Micro Utility Cord 1.18mm line has all the good qualities of basic paracord in a much more compact form. At 100 pounds breaking strength it can handle most conditions and if it needs to be even stronger then another loop or two should work. Just carrying around a shank of paracord seems like too much now when this Micro cord takes up only enough space to be noticeable in a pocket without causing a bulge. Very useful cord, strong and abrasion-resistant!

I would like to start by saying that Atwood Rope Mfg. (ARM) Has some of the best paracord, micro cord and nano cord I've ever used. The quality, craftsmanship, and the durability is there. The labeling in my opinion is even exceptional and best of all it's made in the USA. Atwood Rope Mfg has many different colors to choose from as well and the colors are exceptional. The price on this micro cord is very reasonable just under $10.00 for 125 ft. This cord is pretty strong for how small it is 100lb test. You can use this cord for many different applications from keychain lanyards, bracelets, making your own Flys for fly fishing to hanging windchimes or put a few feet into an emergency bag. The ends fray a little just as any paracord does just take a lighter and melt the ends a little and no more fray! I have worked with paracord from many different manufacturers and when I say that this is the best I have ever worked with I really mean it I have found that Atwood Rope Mfg. has the best quality cord you can buy. I highly recommend buying some cord from them you won't regret it. Thank you Atwood Rope Mfg. for making such great quality cord. I will be buying from you again in the near future.

Rope is better and stronger that I imagined.

First I want to start off by saying Atwood is always my favored choice in Paracord, and in my opinion they make the best money can buy by far. Always great quality and options. I ordered this Graphite micro cord because I already have a dwindling spool of it I purchased at a surplus store, which quickly became one of my favorites and I knew I couldn’t go wrong with a couple hundred feet more. Unfortunately, I just received my order and the color is quite a bit different from the spool of Atwood micro cord I have by the same name, graphite. It’s definitely noticeable when compared, however the color I just received isn’t wildly different or anything I just notice a slight difference in hue and the cord itself looks pretty dull, but more-so when it’s next to my (first spool) of graphite. Hopefully the pictures and lighting will help to explain. I am still more than happy to use Atwood for my projects and will definitely continue to recommend them. In regards to my order and this color of cord, I’ll just have to get lucky and find the (‘version’) I was hoping for in person. Hopefully sometime soon, I’ll sadly need to use my last bit I have sparingly until I do!

This thin cordage is durable and easy to work with. While it can be a little slippery at times, it still holds knots well.

bought for securing various scuba accessories to bolt snaps while diving. The size is pretty good for this type of work because it isn't bulky.

This braided synthetic cord is really thin and high quality. Good spool, too. Not much else to say.
