Really nice writing instrument.

I’ve been using this product for years and would not consider using anything else. This gel pen writes without skipping and gets long mileage with a single re- fill. It is cushioned, making it comfortable to use. It is a gel pen, so if one writes on glossy paper, it will smudge if you don’t give it a reasonable amount of time to dry. I just use it on regular non- glossy paper. The price I paid for this is very reasonable considering the quality. I couldn’t be more pleased with these pens.

I ordered these pens before and loved them. This time I was able to get refills with them as well, which I really appreciate. It's a roller gel that is smooth and I just love.

These are the only pens I use. Every color is beautiful. The purple are my favorite. They write smooth & do not smear. I will always order these pens.

I like the pen and the blue ink, but the bottoms of the pens are a bit hard to use. It is stuck when you press to use it

The Pentel EnerGel is my favorite gel pen! Replacing the empty cartridge feels like a more efficient use of resources. The pen is easy to unscrew and replace the cartridge. The gel dries fairly quickly, but don't brush across it too soon or it will smear. My husband is left-handed, so he doesn't like to use gel pens.

the sexiest pen ever. once i had finished my first 0.7 blue energel, i just knew i had to get more. i’m a student and i love how writing with it feels. lord have mercy I’m ‘bout to bust! good value. 3 pens and 4 refills. just perfect, thank you. the pens come with tiny rubber covers on the nibs too.

The 0.5 mm tip on this pen seems slightly finer than on the older pens that did not have removable cartridges, yet the ink flows even more smoothly. I find this to be a better pen in that respect. The shaft is noticeably wider than the older pens, but this does not distract. All in all, I prefer these pens and will buy more as need arises.

0.7: sometimes smudges if your hand goes over your writing. However, very smooth writing and has a nice deep blue colour. 0.5: doesn’t smudge. But feels scratchy when writing so not as smooth as 0.7. Overall: recommend

I’ve been on the hunt for a good quality.7 gel pen in blue for years. Have been using Meiji pens but quality can be inconsistent. This Pentel is excellent! Good quality, smooth writing, not too much ink and mild comfort grip that doesn’t get in the way.
