Sauna Thermometer and Hygrometer 2 in 1 Indoor Humidity Temperature Measurement Sauna Room

This does a great job of measuring the temperature and humidity of my sauna. It also has a nice traditional look and matches well with the cedar paneling. I’ve measured up to 210 degrees Fahrenheit with it. I like how it has increments of two degrees. This is a critical component to a good sauna and this thermometer is a great addition.

I ordered this thermometer for my new sauna build and was very excited to install it but it was a huge disappointment. It’s not even accurate when the sauna isn’t being heated. When it is heated, it was reading 40+ degrees lower then the actual temperature which I tested with multiple digital temperature gauges that I know are accurate. I definitely would not recommend this and will be returning it as it’s completely useless.

I've had a couple other sauna thermometers that I couldn't trust. One had a needle that dragged on the face of the dial, so it was only accurate if you tapped it. Another never read the temperature accurately, despite efforts to calibrate it. The Bjerg worked correctly, right out of the box, and I tested its accuracy against my ThermoWorks digital BBQ thermometer, and it is spot on all the way from ambient to 100C.

It is inaccurate out of the box, even when trying to compensate with the offset screws on the back. The wood split after 4 uses within the sauna in two places.

I admittedly haven't calibrated this against known-to-be-acccurate instruments, but it seems to be reasonably accurate based on my experience with sauna, right out of the box. Responds quickly to changes. Happy with the purchase.
