While the chair is very comfortable, visually appealing, and easy to clean, it's not perfect. The zippered leatherette arm pieces are constantly moving around, but I suppose that should be expected. At some point, I will just remove them. The reason for knocking a star off is for the the wobble problem when you are sitting in the chair. If you sit perfectly straight, it's not present, but if you get comfortable, it moves around where the hydraulic stem meets the base of the chair. It's not worth the hassle of breaking it down, boxing it back up, and THEN driving it somewhere to ship it back, so I am going to use it for now until I am willing to spend over $1,000 for a Herman Miller chair. As they say, nothing beats the real thing, and if you have ever sat in a H.M. chair, oh my goodness, you can tell the difference between their chair and all imitations alike. In spite of all that, this chair is an acceptable imitation. Thanks!

from box to assembly was seamless. chair looks really beautiful. love the stabilizer feature. and looks so good in our home office. never have I sat on a chair and felt so comfortable - looks great, feels great - i really highly recommend. great deal great price. I've been shopping in so many stores in New York City looking for an office chair within this price range - and there is nothing this good looking and at this good quality at this price...so happy i found it;) and the comfort is perfection.looking forward to replacing all our work office chairs with this chair.

I am not sure what an authentic Eames chair looks or feels like but this chair is perfect for me and my home office. Comfortable, high back chair. Adjustable height and reclines. Not sure how a "non" replica chair feels like. I looked up the Herman Miller site to see how much their Eames chairs were. Looks like the closest match is the Eames Aluminum Executive Chair and it goes for about $2,400. The Replica might be better as it has leather on the arm rests as the "real" product does not. Great deal.

Such a beautiful chair and comfortably keeps me sitting up straight and not slouching! Unfortunately it came with a flaw on the seat. The price was great, but only if it shows up in New condition without flaws...i would have given it 5 stars.

The metal was a little dinged. Overall easy to put together and so comfortable. I wouldn't advise paying the almost $100 professional assembly fee. It was 4 steps and took about 10 minutes to assemble.

So my body is leaning to one side just a bit. I don't think that's good for your back. I think it leans like that because there is more metal and stiffness under one side of the seat. I couldn't pull it back apart to return. Hopefully it evens out over time.It does look nice though. Packaging was good.

I had to return it. The pleather was sliced as if by sharp metal down where the back of your knee would be if you were sitting down. Then, instead of getting a credit issued to my form of payment, I was issued an Amazon gift card! This is not what I requested but I know I'll use it so I let that go.
