Pretty amazing book. If you've ever wondered about the extraordinary culture of mental health issues, violence and anarchy we are currently living in then look no further than 'The Marketing of Evil'. The examples and explanations offered in the book are eye opening in their testament to how our public schools, the media and advertising have contributed to the state we are in. Between the lies, manipulation and guilt projection, there has been a deliberate falsification of facts and statistics fed to a gullible and sleeping public, a silent form of society altering mind control. How could the concept of evil and perversion be taught as good, and everything good in America now be labeled as bad? The very strength of the traditional family unit, religion, personal responsibility and living within society's boundaries, for over 241 years, the building hallmarks of this nation, all increasingly given the boot in favor of a 'do whatever you like' mentality.

I became acquainted with David Kupelian through an online interview, and his first book shows why he can produce compelling arguments for how society is degrading. While 'evil" is marketed, the gap between the know-nothings and feel-gooders and the people who really run things widens. If you've fallen for the 1960s admonition "if it feels good, do it" (and not in the road, all due respect to John Lennon". This book is a brick in the emerging wall that I'd call the last bulwark of Western Civilization. I highly recommend it. With the recent revelations of the misuse of power by individuals in many sectors (e.g. film), this book will help wake you up as to how close you are individually to the fall of everything you hold dear.

Sometimes a book smacks you in the face. This is one of those books that shows us individually and as a nation the impact that the marketing of evil has given normalcy a new and tragic face.

Every parent should read this book and have their teens and adult children read it too! We need to open our eyes to how marketing is done. The book didn’t talk about internet marketing ; but the ideas in this book also seep into marketing thru online kids YouTube channel and kids video games. Maybe the author will make a second book to include that. For example, the kids YouTube channel shows advertisers of two boys kissing; as well as kids puppet shows geared for kids 6 and under that talk about sex and homosexual topics. I found out about this while at a clinic that my friend owns; his nurse had brought in her 5 year old and was watching a popular puppet YouTube show. I was shocked when I heard them talk about how it’s good to “kiss girls” and how that’s called “being a lesbian”. The nurse was not paying attention and thought it was a great show since it was her daughter’s favorite show. Her daughter watched the show while her mom worked to entertain herself. Her mom said she was a Christian and took her daughter to church and only allowed her to watch kids shows on YouTube —yet her daughter is already being indoctrinated at such a young age about sex and her mom had no idea. The child is way too young—a long way from puberty and yet and her innocence is being stripped away. Mathew 10:16 says” I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves”We need to be astute and this book shows you why, and how we are out like “sheep among the wolves”. It’s time we open our eyes and be aware of all of the marketing tactics out there and teach our Children to be guarded, wise and yet innocent like doves.

The Marketing of Evil is a brilliant illumination of the processes by which we, as a society, are steadily induced to accept and ultimately to approve of a whole system of selfish and corrupt premises and practices. If you think the darkening moral trends in our society are a product of random events or accidents, you really need to read this book.

Kupelian is writing from an evangelic Christian pro-Zionist perspective so he misses many things. He does a reasonable job in many cases of telling us the "how" but he never addressed the "who" or the real "why". One thing he missed entirely on his treatment of the introduction of LSD to the American public, is the now well-known CIA connection. It is an interesting read though (if you can tolerate the preachiness) and an important link to understanding how badly Americans have been manipulated. He should have gone back to post WWI and the Frankfurt school as the true beginning to our decline--he starts with the '60s which was simply the inevitable result of the societal destruction began in the '20s.

Exposes the corruption in today's media and advertising and how the evil has permeated our schools and government . Unbelievable how far our advertising has fallen into a filthy pit where evil is called good and good is called evil. These are truly the 'last days'.

Long needed this book helps to explain what is happening to America. Although based of religion in part you do not have to be a believer to see that this book is right on the money to help explain the decline of American values and the rise of very possibly the beginning of the end of a moral country.

This book provides a look into the lives of individuals who developed the critical mass necessary in the North American public to accept abortion on demand. It shows how some of them turned from this direction to attempt to undo their influence. However, the movement had developed its own energy and the horse was out of the barn so to speak.Then it turned to a more general consideration of the marketing of bad ideas. Immorality. And superficial Christianity.The earlier part of the book was a history that I had always suspected. The conclusion had some very thought provoking statements.Thank you. Well done. We need more of these thought provoking and revealing treatises.Grace

If you are concerned with the insane turns our society is taking in the west, you will want to read this book, if only to realize that we've been turning this way much longer than you thought.

This is a book that needs to be read by any body who calls themself a christian. It is very revealing in it's description of practises indulged in by young people as a result of peer pressure. I also found the description of abortions carried out by the medical profession to be quite harrowing. Misinformation and false propaganda were used by the pro abortion lobby and this is now admitted by them years later.

Does not have pages just sections, makes it harder to refer to the book in TV projects

We all need to know what is happening in the world in which we live as forces of evil have a hidden agenda to reform the world as we know it.

I have read third of it and I really enjoy it. I need some data for my essay and the book has some interesting cases that I found helpful. Some information is more suitable for US citizens, however it is interesting to read it and for us, Europeans.

Excellent book describing how evil took has polluted a thousand years of western moral tradition.

Well written as always, and very cogent. Particularly relevant for the times we live in. I would hope that it is read by everyone who is concerned with the culture we live in.

Very informative - I found the graphic details on abortion hard to read; however, every parent should read so they can discuss with their teenage children. Media has made sin the "flavour of the day".
