Did its job
I only hyperfixated on knitting for not even a full 48 hours but those two slightly frustrating afternoons full of learning was made pretty okay thanks to these.

Good needles
What can I say about knitting needles?I bought them because I had really thick yarn that needed this size needle. The only thing I didn’t like about them, was their size, combined with the aluminum’s slipperiness. But I needed the size, and all I could find was aluminum. But that’s not their fault, this is what I bought. I know it before hand and bought it anyway. But you might like to hear it too.As I said above, big size and the slipperiness made them tedious to work with. And maybe the difficulty was due to my older fingers that just didn’t like that. So your experience may vary.

They weren't long enough for bulky yard.
They were lightweight and the size I needed, but it would have been much easier if they were longer, and there weren't any.

Tricky for chronic pain and/or circulation issues
I’m new to knitting and had been told to start with wooden needles, as they have more grip to them. But I quickly found that I’m a tight knitter. Over time, I was making little gouges in the bamboo. People have different tastes and preferences, but for me, aluminum is the way to go! The colors being different to help you tell which size you’re using at a glance is such an elegant solution! Both my mother (also a newbie) and I just love these! The one drawback, at least to for us, is the temperature aspect of things. I have chronic pain and my mother has circulation issues. This winter, the needles would be so cold to the touch. They caused me pain (discomfort is misinterpreted as pain in my condition) and my mother to have acute issues with her circulation. Her fingertips would go completely white and she would need to stop in order to prevent damage to them. So if you have a pain syndrome or circulation issues, be aware that you may need to let these warm up a bit before you use them. I’d either tuck them under my thigh or wrap them in my heating pad on a low setting and it helped a great deal. It’s no dealbreaker, but just a little PSA for any prospective knitters who are switching to metal needles.

Love this brand
I love this brand of needle and have used their products since I started knitting. The paint is pretty durable and the needles themselves are very durable. I didn’t realize knitting needle sizes have changed over the years, apparently a size 10 is now 5.75mm rather than 6.00mm so that was a surprise but won’t make a difference in my project and it probably listed in the description somewhere.
