Did not work for me.
It may be that it just does not work for what I used it for but I wanted to run a second TV from my DVR and it made a bunch of green dots on the first set and even though it was not as bad on the second it also did not carry the sound on either. There are all sorts of caveats listed by the manufacturer and an offer to send it back to Amazon but I will have to see if the postage and trip to do that would cost more than just keeping it in my box of never used splitters, extensions and the 30 or 40 ac adapters that I have forgotten what they use to power.

Does it's job, but did not work in my scenario.
Unfortunately this product did not work to split one output to two screens on a Surface Pro docking station. The second HDMI output must be inserted after the first has been displayed on screen to get this to work.It did work in a normal scenario of splitting 1 HDMI to two, however.

Seems to work only as an input splitter (plugs into a TV with limited HDMI ports) but I was hoping it would be good for an output splitter (plugs into the back of an Xbox to split the signal to an Elgato game capture and go to the TV).

I haven’t any problem seeing my four screen camera window on both televisions (a good thing). As soon as I turn one television .
Here’s a new one I bet you haven’t encountered !I intended to split the security camera signal from my Defender DVR to two televisions. I plugged this cable into the HDMI slot on the Defender DVR, connected one HDMI cable to the splitter and ran it to the television in my bedroom, then connected another HDMI cable to the splitter and ran it to my television in the living room. Problem: when I have both televisions on, I haven’t any problem seeing my four screen camera window on both televisions (a good thing). As soon as I turn one television off, I lose the four screen camera window on the other television. This makes absolutely no sense to me. The signal out of the Defender DVR is simply being split by the cable. Why do I lose the signal when one television is turned off? Totally worthless item. Claims to be a signal splitter, but really ISN'T !!!!!!!

Product works as described, allows 1 box to feed two TVs. My only issue is that dish network can detect when 1 signal goes to multiple devices, so they block the signal with error messages on both screens until 1 TV is unplugged.

needed this for my AV receiver in my living room/home theater. I have a plasma TV that is watched during daylight and a projector & 106" screen used at night - currently I have to swap out my HDMI cable when switching between the two- I bought this as means to stop that - but the cable is not compatible with my receiver.so give 5 stars for quality and price of unit - but it doesnt work for me - sadly I will be returning

Great product
It is what I expected. The price is awesome, considering I had priced this same item for $ 60.00 at the local electronic store here in, Phoenix, Az. I am very satisfied & recommend this item to whomever is in search for one.

Find out what HDCP is because this doesn't support it and you may need it!
Exactly as advertised. Does not support HDCP, whatever that is; but unfortunately that is what I needed bec it didn't work and the failure told me so! Got one with an external power plug and it worked after a bit.
