They're hooks. Just do what hooks do.
I bought these to hang bird feeders, bird baths, etc in my yard. They're ok. Our trees have small branches so these work well for that reason. Things that hang on them are a little shaky so I wouldn't use them for anything around the house that might get bumped into for fear it would slide off the hook.

Did Just what it said!
These worked great. I wanted to a way to hang an owl in the garden to keep the critters away. This was strong enough to support the foot high owl with stones in its base and allows for a little free motion where it hangs. A bit of realism and a lot of functionalism!
