I really like these gears, more of a variety than I expected (which for me is a good thing).In the set I got, smallest are 1/2 inch, the largest are 1 inch. They aren't thin or flimsy. They're a mixture of silver, gold, antiqued copper and antiqued grey/bronze. Some of the gear's teeth (of the same designs) fit together, some don't. I took a photo of all the gears I received so you can see which ones interlock. There would be more combinations of gears that fit together if I mixed them up.I am going to use them in some mixed media projects I have in mind. I also want to make a steampunk pew-pew gun. I made one several years ago and had a great time doing it, and now I want to make another...which I can't do it without a gear or two somewhere. These look perfect for that.

perfect for my project. for all those that think they will receive 100 pieces, that's not what the description says. you get 100 grams. It's still a good amount and i have bought again.
