- Please be noted USB & AUX ports will be required in vehicle for full functionality, volume control by steering wheel is still active but track selection and data sync isn't. You may also need to download the BMW 'App' from the apple app store to support iPhone 5 and iOS 7. Finally you will be able to play and listen to your iTunes library on your BMW or Mini sound system.
- When you order the iPod / USB Adapter as a factory installed option, you'll gain the ability to connect any compatible iPod to the vehicle - and operate it through the vehicle's audio controls and iDrive system. That means searching through a playlist, or even by genre, artist, album or title. Other MP3 players and USB sticks can also be plugged into the USB interface.

- If there is USB/AUX INPUT in your BMW/MINI, this cable can charge your IPOD/IPHONE. You can select songs from IPOD/IPHONE/IPAD via iDRIVE. Can display song names on car stereo.
