For those who wake up early in the morning, the 8am start might seem a bit late coming. I paired my first day of cleanse with a bowl of carrot soup in the evening as I was experiencing some fairly serious caffeine withdrawal. (The instructions warn that you should abstain from caffeine in the days leading up to and following the cleanse. Needless to say, I just jumped right in.) By day two I was feeling better, but I supplemented the fast with one juiced grapefruit in the midmorning. I also drank Clipper 'organic detox infusion' tea throughout as I found myself craving something warm in the mornings and evening. Overall, I was pleased with the purchase and would try again as I know the science is there to support occasional fasting periods for health and longevity. This facilitated the process for me and made my first 3-day fast really easy.
