Excellent probiotic. Everyone's system is a little different, but I would say, "Try it", it is really a good product and it works very well to soothe the lower gastro tract. I noticed a difference after taking 3 days (one capsule a day before lunch or supper). I have been taking Probiotics for over 2 years. When I first started taking them it took several months before they worked well. They were a different brand with several strains and 2 Billion CPU's.
