Assurant 5-Year Appliance Protection Plan ($750-$999.99)

We had a refrigerator that wasn’t working properly. They made it right for us as their contract states.

I think it is a decently priced insurance for a much needed appliance.

I spent over an hour trying to get to the right group, then was told a week ago someone would get back to me. Still waiting for a response.

It"s hard to review something you hope you never going to use. The protection seems great for a nominal cost. The only thing I would like to see in bigger type is that this starts after the manufactures warranty. So you are paying for 5 years and getting 3 years of protection. With that said, it still seems like a protection I want to have.

This is tough to grade because I have not used it. But, it was easy to register. I printed all the info and taped it to the top of the frig.

Trying to use this protection plan for an icemaker I purchased and all they do is keep sending me emails on how to troubleshoot it.

Used this for my microwave. Worth it!
