Outstanding Product
This is one of my favorite products of all the self care products I'm using. It smells great, has the perfect texture, and it provides instant relief to my sensitive "chrome dome." The jar lasts a long time as you need just a dab for your entire head. I would highly recommend.

Solid Choice For Regular Head Shavers
I've been keeping a shaved head for a while now and I've been loving it. As a guy that's had sensitive skin my entire life I am always careful with what products I use and that concern carries over right into transitioning from hair care to skin care, or more specifically- scalp care. This 5 piece care pack is solid, but some items are better than others. Here's a quick rundown on everything in the pack as they are numbered as a set of steps. Step 1 - Exfoliate Smells nice, but hardly does any exfoliation. I used the bottle that came with my original pack, but haven't reordered it since I ran out as I prefer the other scrubs my wife enjoys using. Step 2 - Cleanse This stuff is excellent! The smell is wonderful without being too strong or flowery and has a subtle sandalwood aroma. I shave and wash my head with the step 2 cleanse and it's better than any shaving cream or shave soap I've ever used. I always come out of the shower with a great scent and a smooth shave. Step 3 - Balance In my opinion, this item is kind of a filler. You could use apple cider vinegar or something similar to get the same effect. I personally haven't touched the step 3 balance since I first tried it. I don't have greasy skin, but maybe if you're struggling with that you'd like this. It just wasn't for me. Step 4 - Moisturizing Balm This may be my favorite item in the whole kit. Since I shave every time I shower, hopping out to moisturize with this balm is one of the loveliest experiences I've had since I began keeping a shaved head. It smells a lot like the cleanse which I love and little goes a long way. I think my first jar lasted a few months, and that's with daily use. This magical stuff works wonders on my head. Step 5 - Detox Personally, I'm not a big clay mask fan be it for your face or head. This stuff seems to work like your typical clay mask would. I just never care to bother with it. Not bad, not great- just some clay to rub on your head. Do it if you're into it, but I'd rather spend the money on another Step 2 - Cleanse or a jar of the Moisturizing Balm.

Good stuff
This is a life saver for my hubby. Couldn't find anything in our local stores. Good on head and face. Smells great and the ingredients are super nourishing on the skin. Probably our 3rd jar. I also love that it's a small company.

Much to my dismay, nothing essentially exceptional.
While this review is being left underneath the Exfoliate product specifically, my review in particular is going to be a hollistic view of the entire line, seeing as I recently purchased all except for the Balance and Detox products from this brand. Without further ado, a few things: 1. The smell. While I understand that this product is mainly marketed towards - and likely manufactured by - heterosexual white men, who for whatever reason have associated overwhelming and offputting scents with cleanliness, I find serious fault with a huge selling point of the product being "fragrance free" only to feel as though I'm having various herbs shoved into my sinuses everytime I use this product. While this product may not have any artificial fragrances derived by alcohols, the essential oil blends that seem to only be there for the aforementioned obnoxious odor just do too much. I'd say that about 90% of people that look for products that are fragrance free are investing money into a product that they envision to smell like nothing, and this does not live up to that by a long shot. I want my bald head to be in its best possible state with appropriate care. I do not want something that's going to make me smell like I have plants growing out of my follicles. I urge you to consider that greatly as that fragrance free claim is a blatant lie, much to my - and potentially many others' - dismay. 2. The feeling. This may be something also attributed to the useless addition of those essential oils in the product that olfactorily offend, though when using these products I experience an odd and slightly scary icy-hot-like sensation on my head, and for a product I'm just getting into, trying to understand what my scalp was experiencing wasn't very fun. As a bald person with sensitive skin - partly why I like fragrance free products - not having any adverse events, regardless of the scope, is paramount to me. The exfoliator was definitely the worst offender of this point, with the cleanser hot on its heels, and I don't know if I'm comfortable using one product that worries me that I may lose a layer of skin based on the feeling, let alone two. Other than those two red flags, this product really doesn't seem to be anything special. In a world where many cosmetic companies are becoming aware of natural products that cater to people much better and are adopting better practices altogether, I'm not excited in the same way as I was when I first found this line on here a few days ago. Very small packaging options aren't good for confidence building in terms of longevity of the product, especially for products that cost $12.00 each. The consistency seems to be one of those "a little goes a long way" products, but even then there are other alternatives that accomplish the same thing with competitive prices and much bigger quantities of product per unit that make the investment much more cost effective. The moisturizer is probably the only product that sort of skates on by, but even then a tiny vial of product that applies and lasts like any other run of the mill product doesn't do much to elicit any utility or loyalty on my end. A part of me feels like I want to be into this product because of a combination of sunk cost fallacy and unwillingness to start a quest to find the one for me all over again, but there are so many points of issue at face value that don't shape up deeper in and competitors may actually be able to provide both what the consumer is looking for and what they pitch to garner interest.
